Lovin this thing

Seriously .... this thing is great!! I just laid down an acoustic guitar track then electric then bass.....only problem I can’t figure out is the last track I recorded of the bass is not in sync.... hopefully I’ll figure that out but like I said; this app is seriously great, thank you, Fred Scribner

Synch?

The recordings are clear as a bell...only they’re all a half second off of each other. I haven’t been able to find a way to fix this. So, it’s not really useful for multi track recording. Has anyone found a solution for this?

Not completely intuitive for a novice

The controls are somewhat vague with little explanation within the app to help users understand the fundamentals of MTR. However, after a little independent research and some tinkering with the app, it definitely delivers on its claim to make multi-track audio recordings that are synced and sound great.

Works fine

This app works as described. I had no problems with it and could record multiple tracks once I plugged headphones in.

Disappointed

This should be a good simple app but it’s useless as it remains impossible to sync tracks. There is a delay in recording an additional track in relation to the first track recorded.

It doesn’t work properly

I have tried to record something for a good two hours but as I finish the recording the app crashes. Simply shuts down and I lost all the recording. I have tried three times. Restated my phone and reinstalled the app.
Very disappointed. It needs more work

Easy to handle, not for professional use

NEGATIVE
On my iPhone 6S each additional recording has a little delay, so the tracks are not aligned. My tip: download is for free and app is small, so give it a try. Maybe it works better on other devices?

You can mix all tracks together to one, but I couldn’t find that master file on my iPhone. It’s only accessible through the app.
I figure that there is a share function in the app (when you go to the library within the app and tap on the master file), but the programs that you can share it with are limited. In my case FB Messenger, WhatsApp and the Notes program of the iPhone. Not iTunes or my video editing program. That might be a problem if my video editing program, not allowing access to this app. I can pick a few apps to give access to, but not to this app.

Each track can be changed in volume, pitch, pan and speed. What you cannot do is to cut/edit each track (for example to remove noise) or move each track (for example to fix the delay that I explained on top).

Last there is an echo in each recording.

GOOD
You can import music from your iTunes library (your music).

RESULT
All in all this is not a bad app, but with the delayed recording of each track and the lack to export the compiled project it just doesn’t do what you would want to use it for.
