Good for free.
I’ve just downloaded and spent a few minutes trying out this app and it’s pretty good. I haven’t paid for the IAP yet but I’ve tried out the 3 voices in the free version in AUM with some effects, and got some interesting sounds. It’s a cheap app to buy and I think I will take a chance on the full version, which is £4.99.Show lessJemmy1955

Amazing sounding app
It would be and shall be 5 stars. Just had a big update and holding off a star until I have made sure that bugs haven’t crept in. Before then it was a 5 star. It’s a beautiful sounding app and will get its 5 star review soon.
In defence of the developers I dunno why people are giving this 1 star?. I have no problem paying the small fee to unlock it fully. People are happy paying 99p for a dozen apps they will delete within hours/days. This like their other apps have a sweet sound and I am happy to pay for future apps of this quality.

Terrible - Do NOT buy
I purchased for “Glockenspiel & voices.” Different parts of the keyboard corresponds to either a really weird human voice or a tinkering sound that sounds nothing like a glockenspiel that combine to make a terrible mix. Also pop up / help menus appear randomly at unexpected times and you cannot close them unless you shut down and reopen the app. Do NOT recommend.Show lessKhlatrommi

Besides the recent bug related issues, this is an excellent app. Some of the sounds are better sounding than the mellotron included in Logic Pro. This is astounding for their $5 asking price (the full version). Even so, using the apps free version is sufficient enough for messing around with. Thank you developers for updating the app with new sounds. I love the one preset glockenspiel & voices. The voices has an authoritative and eerie vibe to it.Show lessTokerK

No Sound
I just updated the app (free, was planning to pay soon) and now no sound comes out when I play. Tried through Inter-App Audio with GarageBand, restarting the app, and I still got nothing. The needle doesn’t move either when I play the keys.fireball_010
World class app - gorgeous sound
This is a review of the for-pay upgrade version.
I’m obsessed with the Mellotron, and I’ve owned several emulator apps over the years - none come close to this one. Beautiful authentic sounds, the ability to easily record and share, metronome, reverb, tremolo and echo effects, a slider to go up and down the keyboard. LOVE IT!!
