I am glad that it happened before I bought the game. It would not let me capture the third flag located on the lower right section of the screen.Mktg Maven

Compared to the older versions this one is not good.
Having to choose between two different buildings is ridiculous. Then if you make the wrong one you have to waste time demolishing it and trying to build the correct one.
Please make a new version that has the elements of the older games and NOT this garbage. Thank you.Show lessG. Bones
Barely useable
If you exit the app and come back, it's frozen. You have to force-quit and restart.
The app will crash randomly while playing.

Crashes and game isn’t saved
I like the game, but several times lately, when I’m well over half done, the game crashes and it’s saved. No mechanism for recovery, saving game to return later.

A great game, but no longer supported by the developers. It is buggy, it will constantly freeze or shut down. I have repeatedly reported the matter as have others and as you can see it has been two years since it was last updated.Gwenlarahan
Wish I had listened
Where there smoke there’s fire. I ignored the glitches, restarted the game, excused the nonsense until I literally couldn’t advance the game due to glitches. What a lazy wasteful end to a fun franchise. DO NOT BUY.Ktpclark
Pretty bad
For a game that costs $6, it is absolutely awful on that it crashes at least once per level. I enjoy it so much for its complexity and the levels, bit the crashing is too much. Can I have my six bucks back?Jddddaaaddd
Great game - please make more - and fix the glitches
This is one of the best road-building time-management games I have found. I love all of the Hercules and My Kingdom games and this one is the same style of thing. Some levels are very challenging and require several attempts. I can play it a few times through as different players before getting too familiar with it, so it is good value. I hope there are many more to come in this series. There are a few glitches that need to be fixed - sometimes the wrong building gets built, e.g. there is a site that has a banner indicating that only a farm can be built there, but when I tap on it a sawmill appears. Or vice versa. It doesn’t seem to happen with the other building types, mainly the farm and sawmill. The game also crashes occasionally, but fortunately not too often.Show lessLea1234567
Do not buy! Shuts down after level 12!!!!
I loved the previous versions of this game, but do not buy this one!!! On level 13, it either doesn’t allow you to build the boathouse, finish the road, or the app shuts down completely. Ridiculous waste of money!!!!!harask1

Just gonna say that after looking through all the reviews I figured by now they’d have fixed all the glitches. I’ve played all the Roads of Rome games from way back when we all had desk top computers. I loved the challenge of them. I decided to give this new generation a try and purchased the full version for $6. Not a bad price for some fun entertainment. However when I purchase a game for ANY amt, I expect it to work properly. This game starts out ok…although it seems to have some lag in the actions of the little Romans, I was still able to finish the first 16 levels on time. When I got to level 17, I started playing and half way through it booted me off and I lost all of my progress. I decided to give it another try and started over again and the same thing happened. This is unacceptable!!! Again if I’m paying hard earned cash for a product, I expect it to meet my needs, if it doesn’t, I expect a full refund! People…don’t waste your hard earned money on this game unless you enjoy purchasing defective junk.Show lessRaineT65
