Description of iWealth Asset Allocation Game

The iwealth.org Asset Allocation Game is designed to train teens/ users in financial terminology, asset instruments, capital market and economic conditions, and to build self-confidence in money decisions. This basic level game trains users to buy and sell assets confronted by various changing macro-economic conditions. Each player takes a turn to allocate cash into various Asset classes based upon Par Value in Year 0. Assets are purchased from the Central Bank. Once all players complete their buying decisions, then one of four (1 of 4) Macro Economic Conditions (MEC) occurs to modify the Par Values into new Market Values for each Asset – some assets gain in money while others show negative results. The Winner earns the highest wealth value when all Assets are encashed. A leader board displays rank placement of each player.

Really fun game to play with your friends and see who can outsmart the group!

There is a bit of luck in the game, however I did feel like I learned more about different assets and economic conditions.
