Stunning! The Gadd Man Giveth!
Absolutely incredible. Inspiring. Dog-butt funky. Mr. Gadd's feel is so deep, so in the cut. An incredibly small price to pay to have drums played by one of the finest drummers of all time. Unbelievably useful not only for recording, but just fun to listen to and practice with. Made me laugh with joy. I've been recording since 1978....these loops are mind-blowing. For a drummer, this would be an incredible way to get one's chops together. Play along with these grooves for a few hours a day, get em in your body, you will learn so much. I've learned a ton just trying to get inside these grooves. No way possible to recommend these too highly. Best $15 I've ever spent-cheap at a hundred times that price.

Best app on my phone
During the pandemic, i’ve done a lot of looping at home. As a guitar player, having such beautiful grooves and an intuitive interface has been a joy. Endless possibilities for making music with Steve Gadd. Thanks for offering this to us.
Steve Gadd drum loops
As a bass player this app is like a gift from the gods. The feel of the drum loops is just amazing. I think it’s about as close as us mortals are gonna get chance to play with a man who changed the feel of modern music. Top marks just left me wanting more. Would love volume 2 with some 12/8 and swing. My first session resulted in a 10 hour practice session. Worth every penny.

Really cool. Fun to play along with. However....
It’s really cool to be able to play along with Steve Gadd, even though he’s not actually with you. However, I would love to see more variety in the fills and sometimes I feel that some of the grooves could have been more involved. But, hey, it’s Steve Gadd. I hope that this app can be expanded in future updates.

head exploding
I have been hemming and hawing about this app since release and finally bought it. It is about ten times better than the videos and lite version of the app let on. Devs might take a page from the Looploft in how they demo their loop packs.
Anyway, the loops are just pure gold. Gadd's genius laid out so simply, such subtle details and groove without a ton of noise and flash. Really allows you to collaborate with one of the true greats and rethink the rhythm and substance of your composition. I also like the dry / wet mix versions so you can set the right flavor in your own daw.
I own lots of Looploft packs which are excellent but I feel these Gadd sessions go far beyond just simple drums loops.
