Only download if expecting to pay

Was interested in the Simple Booth Classic for our corporate events. The HaLo version seemed good option to explore prior to that purchase. Downloaded the app and gave my email only to discover there is no ability to even look at the app without the $29 payment.
Feels like dishonesty to list as “Get” app. This is not an in app purchase, it is payment to even get access to the app. Didn’t want a free app, just to look at the platform prior to purchase.
I may ask Apple if this is how it should be listed in the App Store. I feel a little conned.
I’ll now delete the purchase portal they had me download and move on to another option.

Can’t use video and photo

The trial doesn’t make it very clear that you can’t choose video on the start screen. You have to choose Photo Booth options (gif, photo, rebound) OR video booth option. The start screen won’t have booth for guests. You’d have to close the app and re enter to switch between both. Other apps have all the options on the start screen for guests…

Enable to try the software ridiculous, deleting the app straight away

App not functioning & poor support

I sent multiple messages saying the app wasn’t giving me a print option and it took ages to respond and their fixes showed they weren’t looking at the images sent and no fix. Just told to reinstall the app😒

Hard to share the full album

I have used this many times, left feedback, and it is still hard to share the entire album pictures with anyone else.

Great app

We’ve used this app for tens of thousands of photos at conventions all over the country — still shots and videos — and almost all in green screen. The only issue I’ve ever had is when I’ve missed updating my iPad software

Amazing app, customer service 5 star and much more

Been using this software during the pandemic, we are currently 4 years soon going on 5 years and I have nothing negative to say at all. Genuine good hearted people behind the software, easy and straight forward to use and always trying to find new ways to help us grow. Never changing. Thank you for helping us grow.

So much fun

I set up this up at all my parties and friend hangouts. Even if it’s just girl’s night we have so much fun just taking different pictures and the online gallery always cracks me up the day after our shenanigans lol My bestie even asked to borrow my setup for her wedding. I was a little nervous TBH but it was a huge hit and everything went flawlessly. I just wish I’d had it at my wedding bc the Photo Booth the DJ brought for free was NOT good. The setup I have now is prolly better than his “professional” one lol. So glad I discovered Simple Booth! The only thing I wish it had was more themes because I love it so much.

Must pay to play

$29 is their lowest tier plan and it’s per month. While I don’t mind paying for an app, you absolutely can’t do anything with this app until you pay. I’ll pass.

Waste of money and time

The three pictures layout is incompatible with giff and other layouts, so clients cannot choose the layout they want. I purchased and reached out to customer service. After they informed me of this incompatibility minutes after my purchase, I requested a refund and cancelled and they completely ignored me. Very bad customer service. Waste of money and time.
