  • Zero stars is more like it

This is the worse app. It never loads, and when it does it says no jobs found. When I have assignments it will say there is none. It has never sent me notifications of anything. It doesn’t save days I can’t work. If I try the preferences it come up blank. The distance button does nothing too. Is hard to get jobs when it won’t filter jobs you don’t want. It has so many flaws. You would think an app fir education substitutes would be working. It is also very basic and could be more user friendly as in working???? Once it’s working maybe use a better interface this one is terrible buttons are to small and to close together. It’s just a bad app.
  • Wish there was a rating below one star

This app has numerous flaws that would seem to be simple to fix. Accepted assignments are listed in the order they are assigned, not in chronological order. This means that I have to thumb through a long list of assignments to find the details of my job each day. The preferences page is supposed to stop potential assignments from being offered on days one is unavailable. Although I always indicate when I’m unavailable on this calendar, I am offered jobs on those days anyway. If I accept one of these jobs and go to add it to my personal calendar where I see I am unavailable, the only way to cancel is to call the switchboard, which is not open 24 hours. There is also page to indicate what types of assignments one is not interested in. I have indicated I am not interested in para/ea jobs (they pay $2/ hour less) but these positions are still offered to me.
  • Dumpster fire

This app is a complete dumpster first. Where do I even begin?

    1) I rarely if ever got notifications. When I bring this issue up, no one cares.

    2) Assigned jobs are listed in the order you take them, not in order by the date they are scheduled for. This results in having to search through all your jobs to find what’s next.

    3) When you make yourself “unavailable” it still shows you jobs for those days. This results in you accepting jobs you can’t work, then having to cancel the jobs.

    4) The app won’t sync with your calendar (see issue 2 above). This means you have no way of easily seeing your schedule.

    5) There is no way of rejecting jobs. At one point in had 9 available custodian jobs showing extending out to April 2020. I really don’t want to see these.

    6) If you Mark that you aren’t interested in certain jobs, you still have to push the preferences button every time you check the app. Even worse, if you hit the preferences button, no jobs show, even ones you want to see.

    7) There is no way to cancel a job you accidentally accepted. You have to contact the company and have them do it.

8). Quite often when you accept an assignment, it gets changed to canceled with no explanations.

It’s no exaggeration that I could go on and on with the problems this app has. Complete and total mess. They should probably scrap it and start over.
  • Bad app

The notifications rarely work and therefore I miss out on jobs. I take jobs and then get kicked out of them. Jobs I’m requested for get filled by other subs. I can’t specify a specific time that I’m unavailable. It’s either available all day or unavailable all day. That system doesn’t work well when I’m only unavailable 1 hour out of a day for an appointment. This app is ridiculous! I’ve heard nothing but complaints from other subs, teachers and administrative staff. Parallel Education needs to go back to the old system because this app doesn’t work well.
  • Terrible!

Terrible app! Notifications are supposed to be sent to your phone and email so you are aware of job opportunities. However, notifications hardly work and if you are employed by a company that doesn’t make calls to fill jobs, you miss out on job opportunities.
