FAR BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL
EXCELLENT!
Great gameplay and design
Nostalgic but repetitive
1. Easy Levels start with the lander right above the pad so you don't have to move sideways much.
2. Once asteroids start flying at you it is quite hard and not as fun since you still have very little fuel.
3. Fuel level and speed are useful, but are represented by a number which makes you take your eyes off the lander to read it and risk crashing. A graphical (bar) representation would be better.
Overall it's somewhat entertaining but not addictive enough for me. Only buy if you're into hard repetitive games.

In the newest version of the app we have added the ability to configure Comet Lander to display speed, fuel and altitude as bar gauges. Update 04/08/20 Hi, we have added a new feature to Comet Lander. Comet Lander now has an easy mode. In this mode you get extra fuel in the levels where comet debris appears. Enjoy this new feature. Hi Ghulse, thanks a lot for your feedback, we are very glad you're enjoying Comet Lander. For the next revision we will definitively think about adding an option to be able to play the game without fuel constraints (or a much bigger tank of fuel) and creating a new Leaderboard in GameCenter for this mode. UPDATE 10/1/19: Hi John566, thanks for your feedback on thruster animations. We are excited to let you know that we have added an option to make the thrusters visible in a new version of Comet Lander (v 1.7) which is now available in the App Store. In the Main Menu go to Settings. There, you will find a switch, Thrusters Visible, which should enable thruster animations. We really hope this new feature enhances your Comet Lander experience. In the design planning phase of the game we went back and forth on adding thruster visualization and decided against it to keep the graphics extremely clean and simple (a design directive). The game does provide thruster sound effects and a glow over the thruster button as feedback when a thruster button is pressed. In future revisions we will definitely think about adding an option to visualize the thrusters. On your comment about reviews, the reviews actually match the feedback we have received from our customers, that the game is fun, easy to learn and control, challenging as you traverse the different levels and really, really, addicting! We really hope you give Comet Lander another chance, but understand if this clean and simple graphics, non-busy, style of game isn’t for you. Solid and simple
Makes me go back to my childhood
Even though I play it in my phone, it feels like I am playing in my first computer many years ago!
Games these days are so complicated that it is refreshing to find games like this one.
