If you need to rotate the map just a bit, it automatically snaps back to a horizontal position and will not let you rotate a few degrees.
Nice little tool
As long as the image you’re overlaying isn’t large it works pretty well. Very simple and efficient little tool. Would have given 5 stars if the advertisements went away after purchasing the upgrade.

I use this to overlay old maps over current maps. GPS will then take me to a site that I want to research for old relics. Great app!
Maps are deleted if you quit the app

Exactly what I needed
I took a photo of my property boundaries from the county tax department gis service.
Rotated my phone to match the aerial photo of my location with my photo. Had to adjust opacity a little to match the two views.
Pressed DONE
Now I can roam the property and know where I am!

Keeps crashing when trying to edit map
Very difficult to see the overly map when trying to position it. App keeps crashing. Waste of money.
