We used A PRAYING LIFE for our special small group prayer time and it provided much discussion and great ideas!

Can we have the scriptures in Chinese? Or have some language setting for scripture?

Thank you for your feedback!The App uses the language the iOS device (iPhone, iPad, etc) is setup with, if it has that language incorporated. If it does not have that language incorporated the App 'defaults' to English. Currently the App does not have Chinese screen text or Scripture incorporated. Arabic and Nepali are some of the languages in the process of being integrated. Completed Prayers?

I am just getting started with this app after reading Paul’s book. I am looking forward to getting more in they habit of practicing regular planned prayer.

One thing I was looking forward to was the ability to check off or track completed prayers as a way to see how God is moving through my life, but the app doesn’t have that ability. Pls consider including that into a future release.

Would also be great to be able to work across devices with the app, but that is not so important to me as tracking completion.

Thank you for your feedback!The ability/function to 'close' a prayer request and/or a prayer card is planned for a release in the near future. Synchronizing the prayer card data between devices is also planned for a future release.

A Good Start

I admire Paul Miller’s A Praying Life and found this app through a friend. While there are definitely more full functioning prayer apps out there, if you’d like a simple prayer card app, this will do the trick. I hope that this app will continue to be developed. I’d really like to be able to sync my contacts with the app so I don’t have to manually put contact info in for each person I’m praying for.

Thank you for your feedback! The App is the first release of a Prayer Cards App that goes together with the "A Praying Life" book. The goal is most definitely to add features to the App overtime. (D.V.) Stay tuned!When adding a new Prayer Card, tap on the '@' button in the bottom left of the screen. This will popup up the 'Contacts' and allow searching and selection of a contact to be used in the Prayer Card.

I love the app! It is very helpful and easy to navigate. Is there a way for the weekly or monthly prayers to have it set for specific days? Like Monday’s weekly prayers, Tuesday’s weekly prayers, etc.

Does it save?

Thank you so much for your ministry and the app. I have been using it for awhile and my prayer card has grown. Is there anyway to save the cards as I transfer to a new phone?

Suggestion

I like this app very much. I’ve told my friends about it. I would like to suggest adding a few things to the prayer request section. There should be a category for “Praises”. And you should be able to mark each prayer request as “Answered” with a “Date” so you know you don’t have to pray for that request any longer. But I would still like to keep track of the answered prayers for later bible meeting discussions. Your thoughts?

Thank you for your feedback! Thank you for referring your friends! The request to add a 'date' to close a prayer request or mark it answered is a feature planned for a future release. The plan is to connect this with a 'praise'. This likely would also require a 'date' to 'hide' a prayer request from the card so that it does not have to be deleted. Some 'logic' there is required. A separate section for 'Praises' is also an idea. This however could be accomplished by typing the praise into a 'request' on the card.
