New obsession
Love this game. Just a quibble or 2. First, the font color of the candidate numbers is so light, it’s hard to see them when the cell is highlighted. Second, it would be nice to have an option for candidate numbers to automatically disappear when another cell entry eliminates them. Finally, I wish there was an undo button. Overall, though, great game!Show lessExcellent, Free, and no Ads
This is a fantastic app, well designed, sleek, and filled with great puzzles. I highly recommend it. A selfish request, is it possible to add a dark color scheme? I like doing these puzzles at night, and find the white color scheme a bit bright.Needs the ability to note in squares
I do like the simple clean layout. Some puzzles need the ability for the player to note the numbers that could appear in each square. Could you add a feature where the player can add the small potential numbers into a square. I have done a lot of Kakuro and the potential combinations can be very difficult. It’s always fulfilling to be able to solve logically. But, the ones that you have to guess with trial and error are very difficult on an app unless you can see all the potential numbers for each square. I finished puzzle 1 fine, but puzzle 2 has so many possibilities that it would take hours of guessing to figure it out. I could do this with pencil and paper along with the app but that kind of defeats the purpose of using an app.Show lessDeveloper Response
Hi, thanks for the feedback! You actually can leave notes in the squares, but it admittedly takes a little experimentation to figure out how. If you select a cell and tap just one number, then that number is submitted as the answer, but if you tap a second number then both numbers shrink and become notes. So, to note that a cell may contain 1, 2, or 3, you would tap the cell and then tap 1, 2, and 3.
