To the developers...regarding the graphics
To Goro Sato...
I already left a 5 star review... but this game would be SO much better if the scenes and items were clear and visible.
It doesn't make sense why you'd purposely blur all the graphics and scenes...because it makes it difficult to see details and where to tap.

Goro fan
OK - so there’s a dark side to this artist! Makes his work all the more interesting... It all made sense in the end. And after those darling yellow duckies in his last app, who could blame him for trying something new. Bravo!!
Awful
One of the worst games I have ever played. Love all this developers’ games up to now. If they are trying new ideas I think they have failed miserably. Had to give it one star to be able to leave a review, not worth it. Might be ok for some people, just not for me, sorry.
Lots of fun
Loved it. Fresh and different.
Wow. This is sadly REALLY HORRIBLE
TL;DR - This is truly unbelievably horrible. Gave me a headache as the ‘artsy’ style ends up leaving this a blurry mess of nonsense. Usually LOVE this developer and follow often for new releases. This looks and plays like a really bad ‘beginner’ developer, not a Gora Sato escape. More details about why this game is unplayable below...
This developer’s escape games are among the maybe top 5 ones that I typically watch the App Store for new releases. MOST are really great, though I’ve noticed the past few have been hit or miss. This is absolutely HORRIBLE. I realllly tried to stay with it, but between the awful artwork (tried way too hard to be artsy, and instead it comes off giving a literal headache from blurriness), and the texts and screens you tap and HAVE to wait and re-listen and wait through, makes this nonsensical ‘escape’ game unplayable. It’s not even creative in regards to puzzles. There’s a stupid map, and new ‘areas’ give you access after ‘talking’ to A TON OF PPL, most with lame little microclues that are in no way helpful, as if the thinking is, the more mysterious and vague they speak, the more ‘difficult’ the ‘clues’ are. Some of the ppl have no point other than being ‘filler’. The game gives you choices, and you ‘die’ if you make the wrong one. Then you continue on with all your items and keep going. There is a noticeable language barrier to this one, though Sato’s games have never been that way before. I knew all the things in my head, of what’s I needed to do...the most difficult part is navigating the map, to re-find the location to use it in. Tap on a screen thinking the ppl’s words sometimes change or the scene has something new, means a LOT of waiting through the same ANNOYING dialogue. I did finally get stuck with not being able to find where to use my clues, and I suspect it’s because there was a new map area I needed to unlock. I tried every single scene, ‘spoke’ to every single person again, and still couldn’t figure out the connection of the locked garage door that forces a pause with the wrench and manhole cover with the bomb underneath that kills you...sorry for the spoiler, but if you play this, you’ll end up opening the explosion and dying at least once. Even the sound FX are weird, like when switching scenes or map/item mode. I know this is a long review, esp for someone who HATED this one, but I see there’s no reviews yet, and I suspect that most found this one as bad as I did, and simply didn’t even want to give another minute of their time to leave an honest review. Perhaps ppl didn’t want to be so critical of a usually creative, talented developer. These are known to sometimes have a bit more of a difficulty curve, but in a good way. This one is just dumb. It’s not me being critical just because I couldn’t/didn’t want to bother finishing it. I’m being critical, cuz it REALLY IS THAT BAD!!! It’s a shame thade, but I won’t be checking for new Sato escapes, and I have been for years now.

Oh my goodness, hooray!!!
A new game!! What fun!
COMPLETELY new concept that is interesting and fresh. Still has the satisfying signature snap sound with puzzles.
Quick scene transitions and a chatty cast of characters help this game stay on track and fun.
Hope for more like this soon.

Another winner from Mr Sato
Very different graphics from any escape game I’ve played before. I miss the bright colours I think but I’m also fond of different! Intriguing, romantic storyline and I like the interactive map and talking to people along the way. Really good. Plus nice logical puzzles. Nothing too taxing but requires a good eye for detail. I probably prefer some of the earlier games by this developer but nevertheless I enjoyed it.
Note to developer: the clue showing the order in which to open the manhole bolts is extremely hard to see even once you know what to look for!
Recommended.

Different from other Goto Sato games
Maybe not as pretty as other games from this developer, but mordantly funny with a more far-and-wide-reaching gameplay that takes you via a map different locations in a city. Tough without hints or a walkthrough — the hints are pretty helpful, though not always. Another challenging clever game from a terrific developer!
