Does Not Work
Says I have an account already—-I do not. So I say I forgot my PIN. It sends a new one by SMS—but no SMS. Tried 3 times and gave up. Rating—-no stars. Waste of time.
App not working
The application is not working, I cannot register!
Great taxis - But no foreign phone number for registrations
We have been using their taxi service through the hotel desk. Great taxis. Honest drivers. I would like to order them independently from the hotel via the app. NOT POSSIBLE, because one cannot register the app with a foreign / non-Greek phone number. Too bad!

Shame that app does not work. Should be removed from App Store instead of collecting user data
Unusable: doesn’t send SMS verification code
Was traveling in Athens, Greece. Beat app (which had no problem verifying) wasn’t connecting with a driver so we tried Taxiplon. While registering, at the step where it texts a verification code to continue, I wasn’t getting the text.
Tried this for two days. Both my wife’s iPhone and my own couldn’t get the text. We’re on Google Fi, but not the carrier’s fault; we were getting other SMS messages just fine. Our friends on T-Mobile with a Pixel 3 and a Samsung also couldn’t get the text.
Everything pointed to Taxiplon’s app or platform failing hard on this one.

Can’t sign up
The PIN to sign up never arrives, at least on my non Greek number.

Only possible with Greek phone?
I tried to use this app but was blocked at the first step because I have no Greek phone number to register. This is a shame that visitors cannot use it! If there is no Uber I understand but please make it useable for foreigners visiting Greece , thank you!
I really wanted this app to work
I never received the text message with the password to set up the account. I did request the forgot password but still didn’t get a text. There was no welcome email or help button to move forward with this app.
