  • Fantastisch fun

The humming electric disco soundtrack and neon-Norse-Germanic art style make this game an absolute must play. Real care has been put into optimising the touch screen controls and sensitivity to make this a great fit for iOS. It also has a charming story, which could see you spending hours flinging spears into hordes of enemies or just nipping in for quick sessions on the move.

  • Play this game if you want pain and suffering

Good archer game , story mode with mythology setting is innovative and really cool. But my issue is with this game is that its control are really buggy. The game is full screen which means you have to draw your control curves either by obscuring your character or obscuring empties. It’s usually not an issue with turn based leisure play but in this game where you die in a split second , it’s impossible to quickly aim and fire without blocking essential battlefield elements with your own fingers. It quick gets from fun to some annoyance to unlabeled to progress and utter frustrations. Improve the controls or I’ll have to delete the game all together ...

  • Das is gut!

    Guuuuuuuuuut!
  • Excellent Fun & Intuitive Controls

UPDATE : Game does sync between my iDevices!

This game is one of the freshest & most purely fun I’ve experienced on the APP store in quite a while. Controls are intuitive & chasing a high score is addictive, The sound is fantastic; the visuals are awesome & there’s just enough story to string everything together.

PLEASE: WOULD LOVE TO SEE ICLOUD SUPPORT INCLUDED in a future update & would love to see the story expanded a bit. I’m on Level 3 & having a blast.

The game already has iCloud support to transfer save game data between devices. Make sure you're signed into the same iCloud and Game Centre accounts on both devices and it should backup/restore seamlessly.
  • Meh! I’m disappointed!

I was looking forward to getting this—pre-ordered it and was pretty excited for it to be released, but when I got to play it, I’m very disappointed I must say, that it’s done-in by the repetitiveness of it all! I stuck with it to see if anything different or fun would happen as I progressed, but unfortunately it didn’t. Just more of the same...
It looked similar to Bowmasters, which I LOVE, and at first it looked like it would be even better, but it’s definitely NOT!!! Kinda bummed to tell you the truth. It got deleted fast! Too bad...
Bowmasters is by far the winner here! 👍😉

  • Crashes and boring

I like the art style, buts it's crashed three times in 15 minutes of play. Also the "game" isn't challenging or interesting. It's like angry birds in a straight line. Really dumb game mechanic.
  • Needs invert aiming option

Seems fun, a bit repetitive but definitely needs an invert aiming option. Other archery-like games are inverted by default.
  • Frame rate chugs a bit on iPhone 8 Plus

Decent game, but highly reliant on a smooth experience to whip spears around quickly. I’m getting pretty poor frame rate though on iPhone 8 Plus which makes the game unplayable. Wouldn’t recommend until they address.

Hmm, that's not good. We haven't noticed that problems in our testing but we'll investigate it further. If you could provide us with some additional details about when you're seeing this slowdown to support@noodlecake.com that would be very helpful. Thanks for playing!
  • Sweet, fun little shooter

I have no idea how to describe this game, because it's refreshingly unlike anything I've experienced before...I say refreshingly because I'm fed up with clone games that all look the same, play the same, and are interrupted by idiotic adverts for childish games that no one in their right mind would install.

But having said I've no idea how to describe it, in short you basically stand on the left of the screen and chuck spears at attacking hordes who appear from the right. The graphical design is top notch but although the bad guys start getting more difficult as you progress, I feel there's not much going on other than repetitively lobbing sticks at things. There are options to spend your points on other weapons though, which is is good.

The soundtrack is worth mentioning; it's varies between faux 1970s disco and prog rock in between game segments, but the short (roughly one minute) repeating loops during the fights can get on one's nerves just a tad.

All told, this a great little game which falls just short of being a five star title for me, but it's absolutely worth buying. After all, who can resist a game with Viking penguins in it?

  • Awesome game!

I am loving the game mechanics and the art style with its crazy comedy is so much fun. Also I will always support games that don’t use predatory loot boxes! Totally worth the money.
