Ace, but some glitches
Love playing this, I used to play Chuckie Egg on an Acorn Electron in the 1980s. A few glitches, but it doesn’t ruin it. Anyone know how you access the hidden level 9, and how to complete Level 12 in Hard Mode, I just can’t find a way through!
Great update on a classic
Loved playing Chuckie Egg on my BBC micro computer back in the 80’s. This is a great modern update for modern devices.
My only drawback is that when Chuckie, (or Henry as he is called in this game) runs in a direction, he is about 25% of the away from the side of the screen he is running to. This doesn’t give enough view to watch out for drops. Ideally he should stay central to the screen. This is the reason it lost a star.

Screen view is appalling
Love the concept of this. However need to be able to see the whole level, ideally all on the screen at once, however as a minimum be able to see where Harry is running to. He can run off the screen and I can’t complete some levels because I can’t see where the remaining eggs are and where Harry is. Very poor.

Response from developer
Hi there - the game uses a variable zoom to help keep the gameplay modern and to keep the screen at a playable size (Whole levels are too big to show in entirety on the screen.) All levels can be completed as the game was extensively tested, so I'd love to know which levels you could not complete? Feel free to email me directly oliver@downsideupgames.com and we can look into the issue. Would love to earn your five stars for the game :)
Well done
An original, and very welcome, twist on the original Chuckie Egg game.
Love Harry!
Easy gameplay and fun little game
