Too fast

Due to the small amount of levels, this makes me be able to complete this very quickly. Because of this, I think this should be a bit cheaper, to make the money’s worth. This is the only reason I’m downgrading my review from 5 stars to 4.

Cute but quite simple

Flocks is a very cute puzzle game with a nice twist in that you control groups of little blue people working together to solve challenges. However the puzzles are either a bit too simple or just off the wall and solved in a way that doesn’t make sense, like the basketball one. Still good and worth the price though.

my new favorite game!

This game is very calming yet not boring, very simple yet very detailed! The graphics are amazing and I love the concept. This game is very comforting and beautiful and I absolutely love it!

Response from developer

Hey there, developers here! Whoa, thank you so much, that's super nice :) Messages like yours make it worth it!

Not great

Not amazing, not compelling. Some of the game mechanics do not work the first time you try them leading you to believe you’re doing something wrong. Just a weird game.

Response from developer

Hi! Developer here, trying to catch up. Is there any chance you can send us more feedback on which mechanics are broken or causing problems? We definitely would love to fix those! If you feel like it, please send us a mail to flocks@nada.studio ... Thank you!

Great fun!

If you like gentle, thoughtful puzzlers, you'll love this. You control some little characters on the screen and have to split/combine them to solve problems, e.g. have two people go off and collect a log that's too heavy for one person to lift, and have the single person to and fetch something to hang on the end of the log.

The concept is simple, the puzzles are great...give it a go!

Fun

I organize my apps by color, and the only reason I got this game is because the icon is yellow/orange. Now I’ve beaten the first stage of levels and love it

That's super nice of you. Thank you so much for playing our little game :)

Stuck

I want to like this game. It looks clever, I want to support developers, and I like that responses are given to reviewers. That is so refreshing. I gave 5 stars.

But either I’m doing something wrong, or maybe the App Store telling me my iPad is compatible was not correct. It’s brutal to move a little person anywhere. If I roll my finger across the objective, the character will move sometimes. If I tap the objective, he’ll just throw something at it. And if he gets behind a tree he’s lost in the forest and I can’t select him and have to restart.

I don’t have a controller but did try with that feature turned off and on.

Darling and lighthearted

The artwork is simple and whimsical, and the puzzles aren’t tough. Mechanic is a little different but straightforward nevertheless. Totally recommended for anyone looking for something new.

Nice

It’s ok in my opinion the levels aren’t really that hard. Completed the game in a few hours

Great game, poor controls

As others have said, this is a great game. Simple and fun concept. It is heavily let down by the controls. They freeze and, at times are awkward. When this causes the player to need to repeat a level, that frustrates them. Testing would surely have encountered these issues for your team and, if you’d fixed them I think you’d have five star ratings.

Response from developer

Hey there! Developers here. We are a small indie team of two, so testing and finding bugs is always tricky; we are biased after all, and it's always hard to find awkward controls that we programmed ourselves. That being said, we have just released a new update that should both fix the freezing bug, and also simplify the split/merge mechanic. We'd love to hear your feedback once you give it a try (feel free to send us an email to flocks@nada.studio). Thank you for playing!
