Leave a Review Pocket Palette
Simple yet powerful
Amazing tool for storing, organizing, and accessing my palettes. I’m happy to not have to keep a bunch of images of color sets anymore, I can keep it all in one place. The share function is really useful with Procreate, and I like that backup functionality is added though I haven’t been in a position to try that out yet. Backup up is 100% the most important thing to me here.
This is my second review as the developer responded to my first review with a list of positive changes to app. I am pleased to say all of my concerns were addressed, and the 5 stars are well deserved.Show lessDeveloper Response
Issue one has been addressed in newer versions of the app. Regarding saving and backing up palettes, the app now uses CloudKit to store palettes, which allows them to be used across Apple devices and means they are recoverable if your device has an issue locally. There are also share features for palettes to pull hex codes or images to other applications and devices. Consider adding that extra star to your review if it works to your liking. ⭐️ Thanks for the great feedback!Perfect
Thanks a lot for creating this powerful app.Developer Response
Thank you for the review! ❤️For Free? For Real!
Everybody has their preferences when it comes to palette apps; and personally, I don’t want to see OTHER peoples palettes (OPP). Some apps do that, making it a socal feed of blah OPP; you have really no creative flexibility, let alone a way to organize your painstakingly created palettes efficiently.
This app nails everything one would want in color palette creation and management; creating, saving, grouping, and quick access.
It seems to utilize the backbone of iOS’s native files app to save your palette files, which is as good as it gets. I mean, the way you organize and save is entirely up to you- not a candy coated UI, and limit due to premium purchases.
If you want to quick pull up a palette to view it as a portable swatch, boom! You can. It pops right up. And display the hex, rgb, hsb, & cymk value accordingly.
The developer deserves more than a coffee. How bout a dinner 😉?Show lessDeveloper Response
