How are nri’s supposed to verify if the mobile verification code sent by sms does not include +91?

Tried to setup UPI with US number several times. Never works!!

The app does not work with phones that only have eSIMS. Keeps complaining that it needs a SIM card. NRE account holders can’t use it because of it.
