I wanted to try this app because I wanted to support a local business but I have so many issues with it.
I place an order and then once it’s placed... there’s nothing. No email to confirm the order, no way to view past orders, so I have no idea if my order was even placed other than checking my bank account and seeing the transaction. This honestly freaked me out cause there’s no evidence of my order, I didn't know if the app had just taken my money without my order coming in.
Also the app interface can use a little work. I would add an item to my cart and in order for me to make changes, I have to go to the cart to input the details. I think it would be easier to have that option when placing the item in the cart. It’s not a huge deal, but it’s small things like that would help with user experience.
I love the concept of this app being just for Richmond natives, but I think I’ll stick with UberEats or Grubhub so I’ll know that my order is actually coming.
