NOT FREE!!!

You literally have to pay to add ppl like-

A good app, but could do with extra features

It would be nice to have an unlimited white board that could be zoomed out.

It would also be great to save boards in some form of file management - especially for education usage.

Great interactive white board

Literally took 2x minutes to download and setup across iPad and iMac. Really great job, thank you!

Tes gros seins

Wow

Incompatible with Big Sur

It doesn't open in Big Sur. Tried multiple times and results in a bug report window.

Response from developer

Hello. Inko 2.2 is now available for download and it fixes the issue. /TC

Demo too limited

I need to actually use it for a while, fully, to find out if it’s what we need. It won’t let me even invite someone outside the home without paying money. That’s a deal killer for me in a space with a lot of other options.

Response from developer

Hello. Either subscription offers a 7-day free trial which enables you to test all of Inko's features without any limits (should you do not wish to continue after that, you will need to deactivate the subscription). /TC

bad app for drawing

If you’re trying to draw, this app is awful. No way to zoom out more than 100%, no brushes, no layers, limited colors, and it’s not free if you want to work collaboratively. Seems like this was made for taking notes, which is a shame since there are already way better apps for that too.

Response from developer

Inko is not meant to be a full-fledged single user drawing app, nor a note taking app. Instead, Inko is a collaborative whiteboard app. Its core feature is to discuss ideas through sketching with other people. Locally, or remotely. Collaborative thinking if you wish. /TC

Almost perfect...

The app is works as described. There some areas that needs improvement that woudl make the app more usable.
- It needs basic geometrisc tools (circle, squares, line, etc)
- Need for full screen option.
- it would be great to have an option to change the page color background.
- Text Tool - ability to type with the keyboard would be great.
- More vibrant colors. there is only option for 12 colors selection.
- the "firnger/pointing" tool - no clue what it does or what is for?
- please add a "Highlighter" pen
- add a simple "undo/redo" option
- it needs and option for "Pen size"

If those important options are added, then we are reaching a 5 start level. right now it feels like version 1.

Response from developer

Hello. We surely take note of your feedback regarding the addition of further tools, colors and backgrounds. - Inko does support full screen. You can click on the first button on the left (the stacks icon) to hide the left column as well. - The finger tool is the ephemeral highlighter. You can use it if you want to point something out to the other participants of your group without interfering with the drawing that's being made. - Undo/redo is available. Please use the keyword shortcut "Command + Z" to undo and "Shift + Command + Z" to redo. You can also find these in the "Edit" menu of Inko. - Inko offers 2 different pen sizes and a calligraphic variant. Click on the pen in Inko's toolbar, then on the circle next to the colored square to change the pen. Feel free to reach out to our support service (support@creaceed.com) should you have further feedback or questions about Inko. /TC

SO FAR SO GOOD 👍

Does well what it promises. I want to collaborate with my 3 year old grandson.

- WiFi connections should be the #1 priority. (DONE) Note - you can have Facetime audio in the background.

After that, improved color pallet, improved import, and better drawing tools. (See Lake coloring book app).

Revised: 7-May-2020 Happy with progress!

Inko 2, released today May 7th, brings remote collaboration over the Internet. Totally agree with your comment, we've been hard at work to implement that for over a year. Let us know if you have further feedback. /RS
