We had this installed by our network provider as Wi-Fi couldn’t reach everywhere in our house, since it got installed we have really good signal everywhere, the app is really great as you can do speed testing of your internet even whilst away from home, also you can see who is connected and can disconnect them whilst using the app. Overall I would highly recommend this app and give it 5*

Literally unusable
The process of trying to scan a QR code is maybe the worst thing I’ve ever encountered in my life. Honestly unusable. But then again, I wouldn’t expect anything less from Nokia
Unreliable
This app is very slow, and keeps bugging out with errors like ‘your access point is not connected to the internet’. Also, if you add the app on another device you cannot just logon, you have to be connected to the access point first before it will work.

It’s a must have app for your modem. He control and configure. Very easy to use and with just about right level of info.
Horrible Nokia Beacon g6
I just had fiber internet installed less than 6 hours ago, and was given the Nokia Beacon g6. The device itself seems fine, however, the app is completely garbage. I was in the app completely fine, and left it temporarily, I went to use the app about 4 hours later to install another beacon to put closer to my garage to get my security cameras back up online. The app just keeps telling me that I have NO internet and that I need to connect to the internet. Except, I have internet, I contacted my provider to confirm as well, it’s connected to ALL my devices except for the ones on my garage as I can’t add a new beacon nor change my passwords and network name being the APP doesn’t work. I was given the number from my provider to contact Nokia but they are in FINLAND, so I would have to add international calling, which I refuse to do as it costs too much, not to mention time zone issues!!!! This has been a nightmare!! Nokia used to be so good, wth happened?!

Don’t get me wrong, this app used to be great.
I’ve had one of the routers that this app is associated with for over a year now and it works just fine. The web UI is good and works.
The app, however? No bueno.
It used to work. Now, no matter what I do, I always run into the same error: the app cannot find my Nokia WiFi device. I get this error on ALL devices the app is installed on.
I cannot use the app functions for my gateway because of this. I am effectively locked out of major features.
All of the app functionalities MUST be brought to the web UI.

Improving with each Release
Adding WiFi statistics is great. If we could get the same stats for wired devices would fantastic. Seeing release notes on firmware updates would be great too so we could see what has been changed. All in all, this app has come a long way and is heading in the right direction as far as providing as much info about your LAN and WAN as other systems like eero.

Better then I thought
I knew nothing about this Nokia fast mail device. I was with Roger’s home internet and they do not have coverage to where we moved so I had to cancel. But the guy at the store showed me the fast mile. Gave me a deal I could not refuse plus the only solution for my area. I had it up and running in a few minutes. Easy to set up. I have streamed a few shows from Tubi and YouTube with no issues on my iMac that is plugged directly into the device with Ethernet cable. My wife and I use our IPhones email ect and maybe the odd video. No issues so far in the 2 weeks I have had it going. Love the app on how it lists all the devices that are connected. I would give it 5 stars if it listed how much data is left. I would definitely recommend this device.
