Cool but not functioning

After tapping “all slices” it says “no slices” also when trying to do what I bought the app for (export slices) it does absolutely nothing. Depending on the app I try to export to it MIGHT save the entire sample, pretty much exporting an exact copy of the entire sample I had JUST imported into Samplist?

Hey there. This shouldn't happen. The NO SLICE is a UI bug which I've fixed for the next version. As for the export please use the send feedback button from the app and tell me more about your device / iOS version. It might be an IOS 10 bug. Thanks for the review. The main goal of the app is not to export sloces. That was a nice afterthought feature that seems to be very popular among users. So I'm gonna pay more attention to that. Thanks.

Mic record crash

On my iPhone iOS 10.3 iPhone 5 mic record crashes app every time

Best sampler app I’ve crossed 🔥

All pros Good app i love it only downside it should be an AuV3 app as well

Decent sampler

Won’t work in inter app audio mode on any of my devices, pretty big let down

Great app to create chops on the go!

Great app to quickly create chop packages to export to drum machine!

I like the app just have some questions

The app performs as advertised, it's just not as user friendly as I would have hoped.

For example I cannot for the life of me figure out how to switch from the virtual pads to the keyboard. There is no such anywhere I've looked and I can't find a useful tutorial online.

Developer, could you help me figure that out in exchange for this 5 star rating? I want to use my wired midi keyboard with the app.

Hi there. Thanks for your nice review. To switch to keyboard mode fist select a slice and then enable chromatic mode. Each slice can be played chromatically. As for wired midi I know it works with my keyboard. If it doesn't try routing the midi from anoyher app like AUM or Audiobus to Samplist's virtual port. Thanks again and enjoy using Samplist

Looks good but can't use it

This App doesnt work inside AUM as an interapp Audio. There is no contact information for support on their website. I can't say anything good or bad about the app itself as i cant use it inside my project untill they sort this out.

Response from developer

There is a feedback button inside the app. It works as inter app audio on my iPad. I’ll test it out. Try opening Samplist and then load it in AUM

No Dropbox

No Dropbox importing.

Solid Sampler

The interface for editing sounds is good and the non-chromatic mode is the most useful at this point. It’s nice to be able to evenly split a sample into however many slices you want.

Works well in IAA, Audiobus 3, and standalone.

The area where I’d like to have more flexibility would be being able to manage files and slices more easily. If you create a slice manually and then delete it, your slices can get out of order. It’d be very nice to be able to name individual slices, and to put them in the order you want using drop and drag. The last slice in a sample can be problematic as the app frequently will prevent you from turning the last part of the sample into a playable slice.

It would be nice to be able to combine samples together and to be able to create marker tagged AIFF output files for use in apps like GaragageBand and Beatmaker 3 in addition to the current export of individual slice files.

Edit: I was actually trying to solve your problem. I was referring to the Send feedback because we can actually have a conversation on email instead of editing the review & reply. I wasn't trying to be rude, but I guess that's what happens when you write instead of talk in a language that's not native. Sorry. And as an enforcement to what I've said, reviews can be reset so It's not that bothering. I was actually honestly thanking you for the review. You can't imagine how valuable user feedback is. Good OR bad. The app has been updated several times so this might as well be a non-issue. ___ Hi there. I think it's a bit exaggerated stating "it opens in about a minute". Except if you loaded a very big sample. The app opens the last used file. So if you did do that, that's why it crashes. Probably it was a malformed sound or something. I've had some hiccups on iOS 10 but they were fixed very quickly. I'd recommend opening Files app, go to the Samplist / Samples folder and delete the big sample. If you're still on iOS 10, delete Samplist and reinstall it since there's no Files app. Thank you for your review, but next time, instead of dropping a 1* review which doesn't help either of us, try the Send Feedback link on http://alexbuga.com/samplist and I'll be more than glad to help and investigate. After all, that will help both of us. Thanks
