Excellent app!

We Vote has been excellent at helping me organize my ballot and view endorsements, particularly as the election quickly approaches and there have been so many changes due to COVID-19. It is very user-friendly, and I greatly appreciate how easily adaptable it is to my needs.

A must-have for the 2020 election!

I’ve been using the We Vote app to learn more about candidates and measures that will be on my ballot this November. It’s so helpful to be able to see all endorsements in one place and specifically identify how certain political organizations I follow are voting. I have many politically engaged friends so I also enjoy the features that allow you share your thoughts with friends on the app. Thanks to this app I am a well-informed voter and excited for November!

Awesome app

I’m new to voting, and I like how I can flow through the app quickly. I like how I can learn about the candidates and see their score based on the issues I follow.

Sent me to the wrong polling place.

I should have consulted my mailer, but it sent me to a deserted community park for my polling place. My actual polling place was almost half a mile away at the school district office.

We are so sorry to hear that the third party polling place locator we use did not send you to the correct place to cast your vote. We are removing that tool from the next release of our app, which will be coming out shortly. Thank you for letting us know.

Horrible functionality

The app has serious navigation issues. Got tired of closing and restarting to get it to return to my ballot. Needs a lot of improvement. Deleted.

We are sorry that you encountered a crashing bug in version 1.2 that got in the way of reviewing your primary ballot. We have made a lot of improvements in our newly released version 2.0 in time for the 2020 General Election, and we hope you try the new version. We are now doing automated testing which allows us to verify the app on more hardware. We have added a "Help" button in the app so you can report problems, and we can get them fixed more quickly.

Address not found

Tried typing my address in many different ways and nothing worked. Couldn’t find. I even live in downtown of a bigger city and it still couldn’t find my address. This app is a joke.

We are sorry there was a problem matching your address with the earlier version of our app. We have just released version 2.0, which fixes the problem that wrecked your experience. We have data for all 50 states, and if for some reason your ballot cannot be found after you enter your full address, we now have a "Help" button so we can fix the problem.

Doesn’t work

App can’t find my voting district by address, city, or zip. It defaults me to a county I’ve never even heard of.

Our newly released version 2.0 makes the input box to enter your full address more prominent. We are sorry it was not clear in version 1.2 that in order to find your full and correct ballot, you must enter your full address. We have data for all 50 states, and if for some reason your ballot cannot be found after you enter your full address, we now have a "Help" button so we can work with you to fix the problem.

Love the new UI! The amazing work done by the We Vote team has really paid off. Keep it up! I’ll be using this for the 2020 elections for sure.

Needs a little work

I downloaded the app to find out how candidates supported specific issues that I am interested in. The app had an issue finding my voting district based on my address. It kept defaulting to a district 15 miles away. After entering my address for a third time, recognized my district; however did not show all of the races (was missing the House of Representative race completely).
I love the idea of this app, but I don’t have confidence after having these two errors.

We learned after the 2018 election that there was a problem retrieving ballot data for some addresses. We have fixed this problem in our newly released version 2.0, and we hope you give it a try.
