This is overpriced!
This is over priced most of them are locked I want to make a dog and I already bought the set but I can’t even make most of them because it’s a dollar! This is the worst app ever!why are you asking this?

There is no way to contact the company for questions or complaints. The app is a rip off. And their response to any complaints is, “give me more money.” The “clay” is not made of clay. It is some kind of plastic garbage.
Do. It spend money on this product. Buy any other brand of air dry clay. This clay is only made to sell micro transactions in the app.Show lessdissapionted costomer

The app has some really nice creative moments. Little bit tricky to figure out how to use it at first. My biggest issue is that you have to pay $4.99 to unlock the app after you buy the product. This seems like it should be wrapped into the cost of the product. Especially for something that is literally just for instructions.

Can’t add new set to app
My kids received some Hey Clay Bugs as a gift. Prompted by the card inside the box, I downloaded the app, but there’s nowhere to type in the code to unlock the Bugs character instructions. The only instructions I have access to are the Farm Animals that come by default. Where do I enter the code to unlock instructions for additional sets?Show lessKatenMax

As another reviewer said in September, this app still requires a social media account to access directions to something that was already purchased. No reason for this.
The clay itself dries far too quickly for a 4 year old who is just learning to roll, squish, and make a billion “cone” shapes. Also, this results in squished versions of the desired result, as squishing is the only way to get it to stick to itself properly.
Directions and fine motor skill requirements may be too lofty for “3 and up,” so play doh seems more appealing at this point....cheaper and produces same result.

too difficult
The clay is very difficult to work with. Older children might be able to make the beads or simple rings and bracelets but the farm animals? Not likely! The clay doesn’t stick easily and the pressure needed to attach it distorts the shapes.Keddge
