Awesome app

This is a great app. I’m using it every day for deferential WBC counting. It works excellent and does the job.

Simple and functional

Easy digital differential counter that includes what is needed. It would be nice to be able to add more categories and be able to name them.

KICKASS

SOOOOOO GOOOOOOD!

Sean

Very good but needs an option to put in a decimal place for the total WBC

Can’t play sound over it.

The new version does not allow music or podcasts to be playing while tapping in the app. Every inconvenient for lab personal. Please fix this issue .

Response from developer

Thank you for your suggestion. I have updated the app [2.1.1] with background music. You can play background music when the sound setting OFF. Please update.

I am a vet and have been using this app a lot for my blood films. The update is a massive let down. I have set my app to stop/alert me when I reach 100 counted WBC. It goes beyond that and then it tells you it has reached 100. For example, on today’s case I got the notification of reaching 100 after I have counted 92 neutrophils, 6 lymphocytes, and 6 monocytes. It this issue can be fixed, will definitely getting 5 stars from me.

Response from developer

Thank you for your suggestion. I think this bug may come from mono count bug. I have fixed the Mono count bug in newest version[2.0.2]. But, if such problems continue in 2.0.2, please tell me again.

Update is terrible

Total cell count is off. I have counts that show 500 cells counted when over 600 macrophages have been counted. I cannot make sense of it.

Doubling of mnocytes

After the latest update, the app counts 2 monocytes each time the button is pressed.

Exactly what I was looking for

Does exactly what it’s meant to do. The only thing I wish was that when you input the wbc count after your differential that it would allow for a decimal place instead of a while number so it could give you an accurate absolute count.

Easy tool for differential analysis

Any chance you’ll add an option to add new populations? I use it for lung cell count, where we see alveolar macrophages. Would help if we could add “new populations”
