Pretty good for the money but……

Been using for about 3-4 weeks now and found some good and some bad. Clubhead, ball speed, spin rate and carry are all pretty solid using basic iPhone 13. Total distance is wrong etc 9 iron:- club speed 86mph, ball speed 109mph, carry 147yds. (Ping i500 unsure of lofts) spin 7495, total 154yds. This translates with all club distances and is true to what I hit on the course. So all good apart from total. With that spin I know my 9 stops or most often backspins so total is wrong. Small complaint but for anyone new it could be misleading. Also I use this outside and it really doesn’t like shade. In the evening with sun/shadow it picks up maybe 1 in 10 shots. Overall pretty good for the money tho. Small niggles really. I definitely recommend especially for beginners looking to learn their distances and up swing speed.

Good for a phone app

Took this to the driving range to try 3 different drivers. Didn’t expect miracles. Fun to use. Wouldn’t say perfectly accurate but definitely identified good from bad shot distances , very easy to set up and use, didn’t miss one shot, small tripod on concrete range floor may have helped.
Now to decide if it’s worth £70 for one year, I’m not sure…

Hopefully the start of something awesome

Being able to turn your phone into a launch monitor is something very special. I bought a $90 screen, and hooked up my phone to an old TV and voilà, a little golf simulator in my garage for next to nothing. I really hope the developers plan on linking this to E6 or similar. I’m actually making this review in hopes that they will respond to the question… So let me know! I know lots of people who would adore something like this.

Can't get it to work

Happy to change rating if I can get help

I set it up, it says 'ready' then switched to 'busy' and won't register my shots. I got 2 shots to work. Hoping for a fix

Cool app

Seems to work well and I’m looking forward to using it more, it would be handy if you could merge practice sessions in the feed though

Great idea still needs tons of work.

I really wanted this app to work great. I’m using the free version but unless the sunlight is in an exact position I can’t get it to read the ball. I’ve tried it 3 different time at the range once in afternoon and got it to read 4 shots but none back to back. Next more late afternoon and for it to read 1 shot then never got it to register the ball again. Last was morning wouldn’t read the ball at all. Readjusted the phone multiple times along with changing the color of ball I was hitting and nothing. I wanted to do the paid version to see the better stats but can’t justify that if I can’t get it to read the ball.

Don’t waste your time or money

App is garbage does not track anything. Just keeps saying busy. Gives the initial beep like it “read” the shot then just stays “busy”
