Camera, please.
I was a bit bored so I tried to find some apps that could make a map because why not?
This was the best I could find. But the camera. It is sooo awful. I can’t even go to the centre of the map without going to the corners.

Clean and (a bit too) simple
This app is pretty smooth to use, however i have three main issues with it:
1. The camera is odd, and doesnt let me easily see everything at once like i should be able to.
2. There are not enough tiles, and it’s pretty limiting. A tile for cliffs would be nice (but not necessary) and more then one type of settlement, too. (On the assumption gold is a settlement) a good and evil type of settlement, like villages and towns and then outposts and lairs and stuff.
3. Add a fill tool. Please. Please, i’m begging you. Filling in a 64 x 64 map with a single tile is rough, and i make maps by filling everything in with water and then adding in islands and things afterwards, making this issue especially prevalent.Show lessPuntato

This app is really cool and fun to use. I’ve been messing around with it for a while and I feel the only problem is when editing the screen tends to bounce all over the place.Aysten13

Just one or 2 feature requests.
Custom tiles or just add things like city, town, farm.
Maybe some tiles for different scales like buildings if one wanted to do a city scale map.ApatheticSheep
Great but needs city tiles!
Needs city tiles, but cool map maker. City/town/castle/fort tiles needed. Good program needs a couple more tiles tobe 5 star!!mfindoomguy
Great but lacks some functionality
I’d like to see the ability to add roads and more terrain types such as snow. It would also be cool to have a way to highlight tiles to mark cities, villages, paths, or like quest locations and nation borders.c.shultz

I’m currently designing a hex based war sim and I’ve been having trouble generating a perfect (and easy to use) hex tessalate. I used HexTML on browser and tried a couple of different apps and they functioned, but with great difficultly and low quality. I finished this map (a recreation of the previously created ones) in about 10 minutes (and it has over 3000 tiles). Fairy wonderful app, I would suggest adding support to export entire map to camera roll as an HD image, bc i ended up having to edit the map together in R4VE, a photo app. Other than that minor inconvenience this app is absolutely phenomenal in its simplicity and consistent quality.Show lessleviiiiki
