Flexible timer, impeccable developer
I’m amazed at the attention and improvements that have been put into this product.
I bought it to keep my kids in line regarding task durations and increasing awareness about time and how long things should take.
I quickly saw that this does a lot more than just read time out verbally, but rather has more complex timing features for chaining, countdowns to a specific time and other dynamic components. This has the potential of being a great live tool for productions, sports, exercise routines, cooking, milestones, recording events, you name it.
It’s great, and at $4 I feel like it couldn’t be more appropriately priced. And hopefully everyone who uses something like this chooses this one. This dev deserves to be on the front page for their attention and support.

Constant noise issue!
The app is great; however, whenever I run the timer, I hear constant noise coming out of the speaker! Nonstop noise! I cannot use the app because of it. I will give 5 starts once fixed (PS: I run the latest version of the app).محمّد السّوقي
Wow, what a great countdown app!
I’ll downloaded nearly 200 apps and can easily say this is in the top dozen. Have had for about a month, and it does absolutely everything you can imagine when it comes to customizing a voice countdown. It has various standard time countdowns, custom times, looping however you desire, various ways to have voice reminders and at various time sequences, reminders after countdown completion, male/female voice, countdown reminders even while playing music or cutting off the phone, and much more. You can make it do whatever is desired. Being able to have voice reminders while working, exercising, or doing projects without having to look at your phone keeps me focused. Most importantly everything works perfectly on my iPhone, with no distracting ads. No I don’t know the developers. I’m just overwhelmed by the quality of this app for the purpose intended.Show lessKhandspring

Great! Multiple uses. I use it every day.
I’m using this timer all the time. For exercise it’s great for interval training. When I’m mixing glue it lets me know my working time. When I’m getting ready for an appointment it keeps me from running late. One of my favorite uses is for daytrading. This is a good app with a lot of flexibility. The only thing I would like is if the voice would say the label for each timer instead of just saying how many minutes are on the clock. For example if you’re using this for a workout, having the app announce which exercise is next would be more helpful. I have a chain of timers for a workout but it doesn’t read what exercises I’ve labeled each timer. So I have to check something else to remember which exercise is next. If there’s a way to do that, I haven’t figured it out.

I don’t want to have to update this app every second day. Just save them up and do a weekly or fortnightly update. Otherwise the app is fine.Often critical

Thanks for the feedback. We have been trying to address customer concerns as quickly as possible with every update. You can see in other reviews that some customers love the fact that their problems are fixed in a matter of 1-2 days. However, we do understand the excessive updates can be a source of frustration to customers who do not experience the issues being fixed. We will be more considerate in the future.Epic

The frequent audible reminders of the count down are a big help to me. This app helps keep my easily distracted mind to stay focused so that I can actually complete tasks in a reasonable time. Otherwise, I might take forever to complete an important task because I'll get distracted by one unnecessary thing after another.
This app is useful when I'm up against a deadline or task I don't like doing. For example, getting dressed and out the door in the morning, leaving for a party on time with presents wrapped, or any number of other tasks with time limits.
I also frequently use the app’s new feature of linking several timers together. That’s an enhancement the developers made that i find extremely useful.
What's more, this app has continued working reliably through more iPhone iOS upgrades than I can count. I believe I've had the app for at least 2 or 3 years.
The user interface is intuitive and easy to use.
And, importantly, I can customize the frequency of the audible reminders.
In sum, the elegant simplicity of this app gets the job done of helping me get my jobs done. 🙂 👍Show lessUuuupDooown
