Razor Puzzle is for jigsaw fans who would like more variety in how their puzzles are cut into pieces. Our cuts can be straight lines, traditional jigsaw cuts, and/or also simpler single, double or triple curves. A "random" option allows you to mix these kinds of cuts in a single puzzle and to customize the mix of choices. Puzzles can range in size from 8 to 320 pieces. Although you can preserve the lines between pieces as you solve a puzzle, you can also have the pieces fuse completely so that the original image emerges. The app comes with some starter images and some puzzles made from those images, illustrating the different kinds of cuts. You can use inter-app sharing to acquire more images from any app that might provide images, such as Photos, Files, web browsers, or the apps supplied by free photo-sharing sites such as Unsplash, Pexels, and Pixabay . Razor Puzzle then helps you make puzzles from your images, both the provided ones, and any new ones that you add. You solve the puzzles in a flexible, zoomable pane that also gives you a generous number of scrollable "trays" to hold pieces while you solve.

Images and puzzles now can have titles and notes. When you complete a puzzle, elapsed time is shown. There's a new startup option to use a single tray instead of isolating the edges. The "random" curve option is now customizable (choose your own curve-type frequencies). Long-press versus touch distinctions are replaced with thumbnail menus. Exporting (was called "sharing") is better integrated, no more "sharing mode". Image cropping is separated from the importing process. Importing is more direct (no more "inbox"). Most settings are now stored with the puzzle, simplifying their semantics. Scrolling of a large puzzle within the solving area is simplified (no more "two finger" scrolling). Piece border options are simplified and borders look better. More graceful jigsaw curves. Default settings are friendlier to jigsaw fans, rather than emphasizing other cuts. Tray naming is simplified. Zooming is now continuous using pinch gestures and the current zoom is always displayed. Many bugs have been identified and fixed. The help is substantially revised with some detailed instructions on how to import images from popular image sharing services. For fresh installs (only) there are more supplied images and now also supplied puzzles cut from those images using the different curve types.
