Why it requires Location to be turned on to operate this app? location should not be required.

Can’t login after this update

I am unable to login after updating the app. It always shows getting your precise location but nothing happens afterwards. I am trying to login from United Kingdom, it was working perfectly fine earlier but now it’s a bug or something I don’t know.
