Doesn’t work with Sony 7R4
Unfortunately this doesn’t work as advertised with my Sony 7R4 camera. Specifically holy grail timelapse ramping - it won’t shift aperture. Without this feature it is just a very expensive remote release. I have tried numerous times to reach out to the developer for a fix but to no avail. Hopeless
I tried to get this to work with my Canon 5D mk4. I really did. I applied all upgrades, firmware etc but the device wouldn’t communicate with my camera. Apparently the camera was using either the wrong USB. setting, or the unleashed was updating, or the moon was in the wrong phase or something. Life is too short for all of this. I like taking photographs not fiddling about with nice to have accessories - if they work.
Looking at the Foolography bulletin boards I’m far from being the only person with issues. This was a good idea, but like many kickstarter projects involving cameras, a complete failure for me.

My unit unleashed 22 isn’t working and unable to update firmware but Foolography does not take any responsibility to fix or replace it👎👎👎 please do not support them.Kengji18
Terrible User Support
I’ve had this device for nearly 6 months and it has not worked once. My support tickets have gone mostly unanswered, and when I do hear something I’ve been told repeatedly to try the same things I have already done. Things like, “Be sure your USB cable isn’t plugged in backwards” or “The flashing led sequence you have should not be happening.”
None of these responses have been helpful, and most of them have not actually demonstrated an attempt to fix my problem.
The Bluetooth device refuses to pair and I can’t seem to get any response or help.

I like but can’t get Time lapse to work.
Pictures and change camera settings work. Timelapse lapse and auto ramp not working.

Fuzzy
Review Image is fuzzy, and only useful for framing a shot. Other controls work well, but be careful with autofocus settings. Review based upon the N2 Hardware.Gordon Moat

Great app in support of a great product
I have supported many crowdfunded projects and Foolography’s Unleashed is my favourite investment so far. The product has proved so useful that I purchased a second unit for my backup camera.
With regards to the app, what I would most like to see next is support for the Apple Watch because my photography is frequently conducted in extreme locations that make it difficult juggling a phone along with the rest of my kit.Show lessangellightphoto
