Basic functionality works well, a few odd glitches.
I use this on my ipad, and the organiser only works in portrait mode, so every time you go into the organiser you have to pick up the ipad and turn it around to get it to go back into landscape mode, a bit annoying and not really the attention to detail you would expect from a precision measurement company. P2P scanning works really nicely, the different modes are a little too defined though, it would be good to be able to do a plan and then take one side of this and do an internal elevation without having to start a new file.Show lessGjhyyhgdst
Disto is amazing

Disto Plan
Great app that links to my Disto, sadly I don’t have the all singing/all dancing Disto model but it still draws a plan and when you add ceiling height it creates a 3D Plan too.
Bit fiddly when adding doors/windows on the plan but it does work- unfortunately they don’t show on the 3D plan on my app though but maybe they do with the better Disto?!Show lessFF3457

Very happy with the Disto x4 kit and app. Using together it saves so much time in taking measurements and making plans, and eliminates mistakes, and guess work. Very highly recommend! 👻🐾Saule55
So close, yet so far
I think the German brain works a little different from my American brain, because like my German kitchen appliances, I find elements of the Leica app a bit unintuitive. As such, it took me a while to conclude that features I thought should be there (but couldn’t find) weren’t actually there. And, there’s little documentation to bridge the gap.
For instance, using the free sketch app, only a single z-height measurement (room height) is permitted for a sketch, which limits the utility of the 3D view for anything but a simple volume. Can’t add countertops, ledges, steps, or other room features to make a usable 3D sketch. Or, in my case, I wanted to add dimensions for a piece of furniture.
I’m sure it’s a slippery slope when designing a free app, because the people will want curved surfaces, negative z-measurements (like for sunken floors) movable independent objects, and all sorts of fancy tools that this app was not meant for.
Minor disappointments aside, the app does a nice job allowing fast, precise measurements to be imported to a basic sketch in a short period of time. But, even as a non-pro homeowner who desires to do something any more complex than the most basic measurements, I find myself wanting just a bit more.Show lesspafs
excellent app
My disto x4 is a great tool by itself. When it is coupled with this app it really shines. This app in combination with the disto makes as built or existing drawings a snap. Estimate a home and not miss anything. Cannot believe I used to do this with a tape and a pad of paper!mikellbl

Perfect little tool iv got a number of other branded ones but this is by far the best one iv got.
With the added Bluetooth app it’s really easy to keep track an quick to use on sitejon.89
This is basically a demo app, and not even up to that
Hopelessly lacking in features, basic essential ones missing (eg wall thickness, multiple rooms) making the app unusable for any serious purpose, totally unergonomic (eg it keeps wiping out one’s plan with certain button presses without warning)
And it stole 5 mins of my life writing about how useless and silly it is.Show lessMr Angle
Needs a UI Refresh But Functionality is Tops
Wish they spent more resources on the design / UI. But it’s otherwise solid and super useful!trackpad
