  • Not for me

I tried to like this, but I don’t. The aiming is poor and the swing method is worse. I tried and I tried but I just find it frustrating.
  • This is one of those games

That is very good and alot of fun to play. Yes is got ads but nothing to stupid or annoying.
Game play is very basic but you have to be percise. The ad when you get it, will allow you to re play the hole and is sometimes a good thing as some miss clicks will kill your rythem.
Good work developers and look for payment after this pandemic is over

  • AWESOME

    Hours of fun!
  • Great single player

Great game! Fun to get into and play and one of the only single player games out there !
  • Fun but needs improvements

Great fun overall but needs improvements.

    1. Remove the nagging to watch a video advertisement even on the paid version if over par. (Pet peeve!)

    2. Fix the power control to represent what is selected. i.e. hitting into a 10MPH headwind at full power (yellow to yellow dots) but the ball still overshoots a hole by a huge amount.

    3. Let users make own collection of courses from user-made courses. Say 9-hole sets from any of the most popular, most liked or recent holes.

    4. Pinch zoom so we can see the course in a variety of zoom levels.

Hope the developers are reading and will update the game with the above.

  • Good game....

Good game however the advertisements are a bit intrusive and the $5 fee to remove them seems a bit over the top. Normally I pay to remove ads but that seems a bit on the pricy side.
  • Beat golf game

By far the best golfing game on the App Store. Very easy to use, game play is awesome. So important to create a lot more 9 holes courses.
  • Very fun , but..... not such thing as ad free

Great game lots of fun , so much fun in fact I jumped the gun to remove the ads, turns out anytime you go over par they ask you to watch an ad or live with the shot, the solution is to get better, but after purchasing “ad” free I don’t think I should need to make that decision.
  • Not a Bad Golf Game (But Not Great Either)

Out of the majority of golf games on the App Store, “Golfing Around” is not bad. The simplistic style and controls go well together, and the ability to create and share custom maps is certainly a plus. However, the game does have some frustrating moments. These “moments” often appear in the form of estimating where/how far the ball will travel when choosing a club (while this is unique feature, it often doesn’t matter as the game sometimes doesn’t correctly estimate the ball distance).

I don’t want to complain too much, as this is a free application, but it can be frustrating when trying to play.

PS: If I paid to remove advertisements from the application, then I shouldn’t have to watch an ad to reset a hole; I should be able to do it as many times as I’d like.

  • Ad removal ripoff

First, let me say this a fun game that I might’ve given 4 stars. But I don’t enjoy being taken advantage of. I paid the $2.99 to remove the ads but 2 things still happen. First, the game still makes you click on the ad icon to reset a shot. I don’t get an ad, but how lazy was it to not change the program for the paying customers? Second, after 3 resets on a hole I STILL HAVE TO WATCH AN AD! The developers idea of “ad-free” apparently differs from mine. For 3 bucks I should never see an ad or even the word “ad” again.
