Fun game with room for improvement

#DRIVE is an endless driving game with simple yet addicting gameplay. The player controls a car driving down a generally straight road, with obstacles such as other cars and buildings. There are several bottle caps you can find on the road which function as the game’s currency. You can use them to purchase new cars, colors, and upgrades such as speed, grip, acceleration, and coolness (I still don’t know what that does).
There are also gas stations which refill your continuously depleting gas tank and donuts that you can throw at the cops chasing you. The character who is driving also has short lines of dialogue that add a little bit of personality to the game. The visuals are very clean and overall great. The game at first seems a little hard to control, but after a short while it isn’t as difficult as it once was. I’ve read a lot of reviews complaining about ads, however they only show up about every 7-8 crashes and take 5 seconds to skip, unless you want to revive and watch a 30 second ad.

I think this game could use a few more modes, obviously more features would be coming later on, but for now, it lacks the depth that most free mobile arcade games do. Overall, I think it’s a fun little time waster, especially when you’re on the go and have no internet connection.

I like it

Great ease of gameplay, good graphics and an all round good time killer

Needs improvements.

Extremely repetitive and the same sort of thing over and over, could have lots of potential. It was easily the most enjoyable game I’ve played in a while but got boring very fast. The graphics and overall design is what brought me to the game and I thought “ well it looks like someone has spent a lot of hard work and effort on this “ but it was just a copy and paste sort of game where they just change the environment and a few small details not anything game changing. Overall the game is decent but could be better and needs a good few things needed to be added to the game, I would come back to it if it improved and do any other review. I rate this 3 stars for design and simplicity but could do with more things to do.

It’s ok

First, there are lots of ads but every game has them, it’s an annoying problem. At this stage, this isn’t worth the ad removal fee

The gameplay is alright, the sounds are good and the graphics are quite cool. The main problem I had was, there’s no weight to the cars steering and there’s no momentum to the direction you’re travelling. If you turn one way you have to correct the direction and it’s almost impossible to get it right first go. It could be good if this was changed

Solid start to a solid game

It’s very well made game. A running game with cars, but without having to use swipe. The graphics are nice and plays smoothly. The ads are not too intrusive, mostly see them if you are in need for revival after a crash. If there are any complaints is that the game, or rather the tracks does feels a little bare boned and Same-y without much variation. The tracks only start having more turns after you run a long distance.
Some feedback:

- This game would be one of those that can greatly benefit if you can add a multiplayer mode to race against other people.
