Free app that is nearly exactly what I want
This app is a delight but just a few bugs
Photos that I’ve screen shot of Japanese text were translated really well. The display of the processed and original photo are shown sideways clockwise by 90 degrees on my iPad. It is unclear what is the optimal clarity and size of the text to be translated, and sometimes, the app could not translate, probably for this reason.
Having said this, I am really happy that I have this app, particularly as it works on photos that I have already stored in any of my albums.

Don’t waste your time
Absolutely useless. It didn’t work once.
