Urgh
Big fan of Aaliyah but honestly this app is pointless! EVERYTHING you see on this app u see on Instagram and Twitter. There is NOTHING unique or original about this app. Boring!Locky86200
I’m not signing up
Every app and website you use you gotta sign up and be a “user”. I’m tired of entering passwords and email addresses to use websites and apps! Why can’t people create stuff for the public to simply use without all this registration and signing up??RoxyBlaze
Not Impressed
At first glance, the app is really nice for Aaliyah fans to come together and communicate but alas that is why platforms such as twitter, Instagram, etc. were created. The layout of the app is dated and overshadows the content on the actual app. Another downfall of the app is that it’s not compatible with androids so that’s a whole demographic of her fan base that’s not being reached. Again, it gives more reason to just use platforms like twitter and instagram. I’m not exactly sure what the app is doing for her legacy, there could be much more being done to honor her but here were are with a lackadaisical app that is constantly spamming about poorly graphically designed shirts. It’s unbecoming and hope that her estate is able to collaborate with some people who are trained and now how to curate some content with longevity.Show lessKIDSISTA96

This aapp (Double Aa like Aaliyah ;) lol )was developed by the family just for us fans. Being an Aaliyah fan is a special thing & it’s a great space to honor Aaliyah’s memory and carry on her legacy. There are also fun contests to participate in. I’ve been an Aaliyah fan since 1996 & I am so happy to see an Official App in her memory for the fans. Aaliyah’s brother Rashad created this app for the fans to have a positive place of community amongst other fans to communicate our love for Aaliyah and her iconic art.
I also appreciate the app for encouraging and embracing Aaliyah’s fans who are creatives to share their art of Aaliyah etc with other like minded people.
