Not beginners app
Its helpful and I’ve become more fluent but that’s only because I started as a home speaker of mandarin so I already knew some but I don’t think it’s for people just starting, definitely more of an app for people who want to improve. Although the teachers are amazing!
I miss it
This is a amazing app.Recently,my classes finished. This is a great learning app,the teacher’s are nice and you can learn with other students. This is very underrated and does not deserve any hate
Not bad just an little glich sometimes
Pretty good I’m used to it
To the people who say this app is boring...
I learn Chinese with koala know every week. The teachers are just trying to help you learn! Plus if you would appreciate it you are learning from koala know and it costs money. Some of us have a little but just so you know that is never gonna be enough for one class. You guys should appreciate that you are getting the opportunity to learn a new language and thank these teachers and your mom and dads. These teachers work hard to make sure you learn and are happy learning now for those who think this class is boring and dumb, start appreciating these opportunities. You know ,if you don’t learn and play your games all day, just wait for your future and see if you get a good job or a good home. Cause without learning, you would not get far in life.

How the teachers teach and everything
When the teachers call on me and I’m trying to answer, somebody else says the answer for me.And the teacher didi okay attention to me.She doesn’t care about students like me.She just ignore me and have a smile and whatever she just do.I kinda like this app but it’s okay. The only thing that’s wrong about this app is the test. When i do the test it has some kind if noise and it’s disgusting.Sounds like a dog breathing.

It’s ok
I mean, I learn with koala know but every time I do classes I complain. I honestly don’t like the classes and find them boring. I have another Chinese class that I like way more. I just don’t really like koala know.

Some bugs here and there.
First of all, the teaching is pretty good. Nice and informative teachers, interactive classes, and generally a comprehensive experience. However, this app is riddled with minor bugs.
1. The app would refresh even if the iPad simply turns off. Most apps keep their state while Koala Know has to reload.
2. There are certain connection issues when connecting to a class. For example, it would remain at a blank screen or would kick me out.
3. Interactive experience is clunky. There would be a noticeable delay in touches and overall isn’t coded properly.
4. Full language support. Some areas would be Chinese while other areas would be English. Language consistency would be great.
5. Default the pen to a better stroke. It would start at a random color and the stroke is too thin. Defaulting it at a readable state would also be great.
Really that’s it, so if the development team could resolve those issues, it would greatly enhance our learning experiences.
But overall, it’s pretty good.
