Terrible app
On a Scenic cruise the app was completely unusable. Ultimately we determined that the wi-fi was only sporadically connecting but there was no indication or troubleshooting available in the app — why couldn’t the developers at least notify that the app can’t connect? This would have saved aggravation of debugging on the fly.

Excessive data usage - beware
Turned on my mobile data as there was no wifi on the top deck of my river cruise ship - and in less than an hour this app had used nearly 5GB of data! That is totally excessive for a small amount of audio commentary.
Can’t read required barcode
There should be another way to use this besides using the camera to read the device barcode since the barcode is worn off of the devices.

We are sorry for this inconvenience! Please mind that the app is not supposed to read QR codes on devices. It is intended to scan QR codes provided on either QV to GO City Map products or if explicitly asked, on river cruise ships to trigger commentaries en route.
