The newest version of the Patch Tarot app contains many new features and improvements, largely from feedback submitted by app users like you! One of the biggest new features is the ability to add comments to each card within a saved reading, so you can comment on how that card made you feel, or how it related to your current experiences. Then when you save the reading, you can enter a custom name for it, which will help keep track of all your saved readings. All of these notes and names can be edited from the Saved Readings screen, and we have added prompts before deleting a reading to ensure you don't delete your readings by accident! You can also toggle your saved reading between the original and updated Patch Tarot decks, in case your earlier readings were saved with the updated deck accidentally. We have improved the user interface to reflect all these new edit options, notes, and to make the app even more user friendly, we added a new feature to improve the readability of the app. This option can be toggled on and off from the Options menu and will increase the font size of the app all across the board, making each reading easier to read. We hope you enjoy this updated edition of Patch Tarot, and look forward to continuing to grow together as we move forward! Thank you to everyone who has supported Patch Tarot and for all the amazing feedback we have received! Peace and Love!

Description of Patch Tarot

The power of Patch Tarot is now available on your digital device! It’s not always easy to carry around your full Tarot deck everywhere you go. However, the inspiration to consult its wisdom arises when you least expect it, sometimes when the deck is unavailable. We are pleased to announce that you can now have the full Patch Tarot experience right on your digital device; anytime, anywhere. The in-depth wisdom packed within the Book of Patch is right at your fingertips and available for every card. If you are feeling like a quick piece of advice, opt for a one or three card pull. If you have a few minutes and are in the throes of a profoundly inspiring moment, opt perhaps for a 5-card reading. If you are in for a full-on traditional card draw, then look no further than the Celtic Cross spread. All of these are available with easy access and simplicity of use at your convenience. There is no need to be stationed anywhere specific to draw the cards because they are all on your device. Anywhere you can use your digital device, you can use this app! No more concerns about ruining your cards on a commute, or losing them to a particularly weathered afternoon. You can now take advantage of the full power of Patch Tarot any time that suits you best. For a bit of historical background, the Tarot is a detailed pictographic diagram of the universe and everything within it, and is based on many ancient teachings and spiritual practices; including but not limited to Qabalah and the Sacred Toroidal Field. Tarot encompasses the five elements (physical earth, emotional water, mental air, spiritual fire, and the astral - ether), describing how these five geometries weave together to depict the totality of life experiences, and the structure by which the laws of creation are set. Tarot is a language of symbology, numerology, cosmology, geometry, and art - which fuse together in an intricate web of ideas providing a means by which one’s consciousness can engage, and come to know itself better with. The Tarot then becomes a guidebook through the many different aspects of life, and supports a higher understanding of one’s experiences in a deeper, more meaningful way. Over the ages, many different Tarot decks have been crafted. Patch Tarot is a continuation and evolution of today's most prominent Tarot decks of the past hundred years. This deck is a purposeful fusion of the most prominent symbolisms and descriptions across the most notable decks, into a singular unified Tarot deck made for you - the modern alchemical scholar. Herein you will find all of the familiarity of other great Tarot packs, such as Thoth and the Rider-Waite-Smith, along with a touch of Patchman for good measure. One thing that should be noted about the Tarot and these esoteric connections is that for most people, the information is quite impenetrable. There are tens of thousands of books available in the world which seek to explore and dissect the symbolism of Tarot, and the understanding of the ancients for the modern mind; however there is so much information, that it is not easily comprehensible without a great deal of study. This brings us to where we are now, and the creation of a new deck - which seeks to make known the hidden mysteries in a simple, yet comprehensible manner: Patch Tarot.

Reviews of Patch Tarot

  • Jordan Rivers is a Genius *

The amount of dedication this man has put into this deck may very well be on another level entirely. I think personally if you haven’t started using this deck you should start now and never use any other tarot. It is complete and perfect in every way. Divinely inspired and beautiful to say the least. You will not be disappointed.
  • Good App, Small Issue

Although the correspondences for this deck is different than most mainstream decks, I believe this is a positive change for many.
The app and artwork are beautiful. The readings have been very to the point and without confusion, imo.

I did run into a small issue when drawing the Celtic Cross for the 1st time: I drew and began reading through, but I didn’t want to lose my drawn cards since the reading was taking time. I exited the reading to save the current reading. However, when I returned to the cards, my reversals were now showing upright, obv completely changing the reading. The app could do with an auto save feature based on date and time. Patch could use a small patch for convenience. Other than that, it’s a fine tool for personal growth.
  • Not recommended for serious tarot practitioners

The numbering system is all messed up. The Empress and Emperor cards have been flipped. The artist gives explanation for this but the correspondences will be off when using this deck within the framework of many other tried and true esoteric systems with deep history of symbolic meanings. The art is beautiful and the artist surely had a vision in mind, unfortunately the vision doesn’t work for me and may not work well for others. I’m glad I just paid a few bucks to check out the app version and didn’t shell out the money on the physical deck.
