Works exactly as expected

NOT worth it YET
I say yet because it is so basic it lacks functionality. For example I can’t search my grades comics. I can’t even tell my graded collection value. Also... the graded value on the web page is not the same as the graded value on the app. It’s just a bad app right now. I wish I could get my two bucks back. Been waiting for an app-based CPG interface for years. It looks like a lot of the complaints are from those who didn’t visit the website and didn’t realize this is a subscription-based service if you want to catalog an unlimited collection. If you’ve got a significant library, it’s well-worth the investment. Love having the collection and wish lists in a mobile version for trips to store, conventions, etc.Show lessVerchiel
Needs major improvements
I will touch on two subjects, 1. The app 2. The database
THE APP:
1. App search expires out of nowhere even when searching your own collection ( which makes me have to use the website on my phone making buying the app pointless)
2. Too many steps to find a comic ( at least on the website you can search for the title and the issue in one search )
3. Does not include a barcode scanning function which would be especially helpful and time saving when adding new comics to your collection.
4. Should include the option to download your collection as a file
THE DATABASE:
1. Prices take too long to reflect current fair market value ( FMV) some books are still listed as cover price that has increased anywhere from $20-$80 in value ( which are captured in other online price guides and in the Overstreet price guide.
2. Should include the option to download your collection in other formats ( pdf, word, etc)
3. Randomly limits viewing of your collection ( sometimes while viewing my collection it will tell me I have no books under many of the letters like “B” “C” etc.
There are many improvements to be made and I am looking forward to seeing them as I’ve been a gold member using this service for over five years.Show lessEXPECTED MORE!
Not all features available
This is a good app if you want to save time, but what disappointed me was not all the features available on the website are on the app, like recent value changes (which I check daily) and messaging other members. Also you can’t search comic title along with issue, only comic title first. But still good to search prices, but as stated only good if you want to save 10 seconds. It’s about time!!!!!
I’ve been a subscriber to CPG for about 6 years and it is the ultimate utility to keeping up with your collection including having it organized into different boxes and even selling or buying from fellow users. I was confused as to why this app was only 3 stars but people don’t realize that this app is supposed to go with a yearly subscription. If you want to use the free 50 then just add the website as a bookmark. The app works great and I am 100% glad they made one, I’ve been waiting.Show lessThe person doin something
In my opinion best app out there
I love being able to know what I have in my collection and what I want to look for readily available with in seconds. Most times I see stuff I want but when I’m out I draw a blank especially when it’s a huge comic shop with tons of awesome books, but with this I can pull up my want list in seconds and see what I was looking for. It gives you values and cover art including variants as well. I can’t wait to bring this to Boston and NYCC I think it will help me out a lot.Show lessCaptnShmoe79

Interesting and helpful
For the app where I need to get the most fare and accurate price. I love it when I am on the fly and need a price for a book. But two things 1) need to have the ability to scan on the comics in the collection. 2) addition fee for more than 50 comics. Then pay for an upgrade. Nice to have the information up front before discovering it after you buy the app. Still good to get a quick quote on the fly.Show lessSelarom Yar
