Video recording error and no support or refund service
I bought this 99p app hoping to use the video aspect of the fisheye idea. The app only works when you’re taking pictures but an error comes up when you try to save a recording (ENCORDING E...). I tried to get in touch with this company first about helping me to resolve this error and then about a refund which they haven’t responded to, despite being active on their social media. All around pointless app, not worth getting

Have to hold the button the whole time to record video
I bought this app thinking I could record myself doing skate tricks, but someone else would have hold my phone and press the button down the whole time. Kind of pointless for me.

Crashing/Camera
It won’t let you use it unless you grant mic access even to take a picture. Deleted. I’m glad I got it for free.
Mic access?
Why do I need mic access to use a camera? No thanks.
Chromatic aberration
Fish eye effect is not bad but the chromatic aberration and fringing are pretty bad.
This is not a true fish eye
This is not a true fish eye only a simulation that can be produced by most photo editors.
Don’t install
So I use many camera apps, simply because I want to take a photo. But this stupid selfishly designed app, maybe it’s the selfish designers, the selfish owners etc etc etc but if I set my phone to silent, then turn on an app and it starts playing stupid fish bubbles at full volume! To me that means the developers felt they had the right to code in a way to take away my choice of quiet.
I see the app and thought I would try it, I got 10 seconds in and uninstalled. If your controlling my right to have my phone set to vibrate then what other rights are you taking away? My right to privacy maybe? Screen recording etc etc.
Don’t waste your time people, this app seems to be simply yet another app that controls your phone instead of being fun.

The app looked intriguing, I have to admit - but *requiring* mic access - without justification, to make photos?
That's a nonstarter, and the app is now deleted. Good operational concept, though.
