I wish the issues would be corrected
It has very useful tools and easy to navigate but it has horribly slow response times, attendance can be documented and I’ll have to do it again the very next day because it doesn’t save. Many days I get logged out and then it won’t let me back in until I delete the entire app and redownload it. This is the second year with all the same issues. Too many error codes and freezing loading screens. Hopefully these issues can be repaired, since I see by other reviews everyone is dealing with the same problems.

Great Home School Program
We really in joy the program for home schooling. The teachers are really nice and will respond to messages after school hours. The app is easy to use. The program provides all the tools needed for schooling, including laptop. Would recommend Highpoint virtual K12 home school program to everyone with school age kids. This program even offer school field trips. 5 stars all around.

It’s ok
As a mom, and my sons learning coach, the app is great for checking how he is doing and his assignments. However, the app takes forever to load. It didn’t use to. The first 2 weeks of school, it was good. But over the last month, it takes anywhere from 5-10 minutes just to load. And if I want to see the next day or anything else other than what I am on, I have to wait another few minutes. Shouldn’t have to. Someone needs to fix the issue. I don’t have time to wait for the app to figure how of it’s going to load or not. I’m a busy mom, and don’t always have time to get on my son’s school issued laptop to check his assignments. Especially when he is on for class. But it not loading is a major issue. And I hope it gets corrected and soon.

Great app but needs improvements
I like the app and it’s easy to navigate and keep track of things and has a nice interface. But as a UXUI Designer, learning coach, and mom, it has some issues. First, it has very slow response times 90% of the time. When i record my students attendance, it takes each subject 60-90 seconds to load before i can scroll down and log the next subject. When I record their attendance and save it, the next day i have to record the same days all over again. There have been several times i have tried to navigate and the pages will blank out or even give me an error message. The app has pretty much had the same function issues since my kids started K12 a few years ago. Hope this is helpful :)

Ugh
When this app works it is really useful. However, login must be done from memory. DO NOT try to go through your saved passwords because that locks you out. I have had to delete and redownload no less than 3 times in the last week and a half due to the app just not loading my children’s schedules. I can seemlessly use this app 2-3 times before it glitches and stops loading anything so I have to delete and redownload at least once sometimes twice if I mess up and try to login with my saved passwords. I think I might just create a quick link on my Home Screen for the k12 website because this app would rather not work.

K-12 is completely different than it used to be and not in a good way.
My biggest complaint is they took away your ability to log your kids attendance. Now they are monitored through the computer to see how long they spend in each course. We’ve been with this school since 2017, why change it in 2024. What I don’t understand is A-LOT of people choose homeschooling for the flexibility. Now there is none. Not sure how this is going to go if your kid isn’t spending 6 hours in their courses before 5pm because they don’t log anything after that even if your kid is working. We have been with this school since 2018 and the way in which they’ve changed things not only makes it harder for the kids it also makes it harder on the parents.

Dont pick k-12 for your child
At first i liked the thought of homeschooling my kids because they will be home safe from dangers at these public schools,and they would get a better education from people who actually know how to teach…Wrong.. its only gotten worse. these teachers at K-12 dont care about answering the kids questions,they totally ignore anything they have to say, they dont put grades in on-time.. they dont respond in a timely manner when you email them or call the school.. these teachers are rude to the kids.. they act like they are dealing with the kids as if they were in a class room, you have nothing better to do.. PUT THEIR GRADES IN ON TIME.. stop making their grades go down because you are to lazy to put them in.. Have some sense like these teachers dont have a Brain

Why do they make you call to make a payment?
I already figured out how to sign my kid up for the s hook I think I can make a payment o line instead of having to stay on the phone for over 45 minutes. I certainly don’t need you speaking every word of my address and name and phone number every single f’ing time. The only reason I called was to make a payment. That part only took 5 minutes, but the person on the phone spent 40 minutes verifying everything I already verified before I made the call. I don’t need help with that just take my money please. 45, er, 40 minutes I will never get back.

App Never Works
The app would have been great if it worked, but it’s only worked the first week of school. It was convenient to be able to check on my children’s assignments, schedule, and progress however the past couple weeks have been extremely bad. The app will open up but it does not load any information at all. There are times where I will get an error message, and there are times where it’ll just constantly look like it’s loading but nothing ever appears.
I can never view anything on the app, I would have to get on a laptop or desktop computer to even see anything. Please fix these bugs!

Hi!! I think this app is good, but I’m a student writing this, and i’ve really wanted an easy way to check graded assignments, overdue items, feedback from teachers, or my grades. And downloading this app, I thought i’d be able to login as a student but i am not. Which clearly, this app is meant for parents only and there is nothing wrong with that. Although, i think it would be very handy for many students for there to be a whole other app for students! (Maybe calling it K-12 Student portal.) Obviously not upset or anything with THIS app! I’m just suggesting an idea :)
