Nothing Impressive. Just Slideshows with Crappy Voiceovers

The user interface has these annoying tutorials that pop up and all they do is annoy you. You won't be able to learn how to use the app at all because it's hard to figure out. You can't even edit your videos or photos like instagram, snapchat, or messenger. There is no creative control whatsoever. This is better off being used in elementary schools to teach kids flashcards during the pandemic. Useless app and completely uninteresting. Don't let yourself be fooled. Rather use IG or Snap.

Hi Setsuko, we are sad to hear your frustration but happy to report that the Tutorials can now be turned off in User Settings. Playlog is still in it's early stages (we are a Minimum Viable Product) so this type of feedback is extremely valuable. We're actively working on honing our editing and social capabilities, and are by no means an IG or Snap. In fact, we'd like to set ourselves apart by letting our content creators help us shape our app - but are sometimes constrained by resources. We have also welcomed over 10 new content creators since you left your review, and we'd love for you to please take a look at our Explore page and let us know your thoughts :)

SUCH A GEM! LOVE IT!

Super happy with the app, I randomly stumbled upon it searching for a more refined, intelligently designed approach to editing. To me it is THEE intuitive flow to make video magic and share an authentic, complete story with the world.
