Extremely Helpful!
I love this app. It’s ease of use is a bonus. Initially, I didn’t know how to play but easily found all settings and detailed instructions/videos in the profile section.
I’ve noticed a vast improvement in my working memory since beginning this app. I’ve tried other Dual N-Back apps but none compare.

Couldn’t for the life of me figure out what I was supposed to do. Sat there seeing random blocks light up with letters stated forever, wondering if I was supposed to be doing something. Literally no menu option to get instructions.thebazile27
Does what it’s supposed to do
I used to use Brain Workshop on Mac but it stopped working on Catalina. This is a great replacement and the best one I’ve seen on iOS
Customizable within limits. No ads. You do have to pay to get beyond 4-back, but it’s unreasonable to expect people to make apps for free and it’s $8 a year, which I think is reasonable.scegf0d

Great app, what I was referring to before is a feature I found out you can disable when you want. That way you can practice without distractions first and then add them in for another level of difficulty. Brilliant! 5 stars
Previous review:
I’m using the iPhone SE and for some reason the app will click itself randomly during a session even if I don’t have my fingers near the screen. Sometimes it clicks itself once here and there, other times it will do so for five turns straight. Obviously, this breaks my concentration and I cancel out of the session. This is frustrating when trying to level up since you are so focused on memorizing more than you are used to and then having to deal with this particular bug throws a huge wrench in the whole experience. If this bug were fixed, I’d pay for the app.LGP980

No-Back
As a complete beginner to this game I was totally confused about how to play it. I looked for tutorials and only found a paragraph that was not useful. There was no tutorial or explanation about how to use the mechanics in the game. I wanted to like the game because it was supposed to be helpful but it just made me angry and frustrated. I found another Dual N- Back game by a different developer which had a great explanation and a tutorial. Skip this one if you’re a beginner.TM~01
