Forms have various use cases: For example, support your service staff when maintaining devices by providing them a form containing the required operating steps, which they can work through systematically just like a checklist. Forms support the full feature range of the guided troubleshooting functionality (dynamic content, procedure history, API access, and automated session evaluation). To use forms, the optional premium Checklists feature is required. Please contact Empolis if you are interested. * Downloads: Improved the stability, responsiveness, and user experience when downloading files. Bug fixes in 4.27 * Downloads: - While downloading all topics of a document, the titles of the individual topics are now properly displayed in the download manager. - Fixed a display issue with the “Downloads” area after changing the user interface language. - Fixed an app crash that could occur when downloading the entire search result list. * Community & Team Knowledge – The actions “Mark Problem as Solved” and “Remove/Add Participants” are now only displayed for problems if the current user has the necessary permissions. * Deep links – The page number of the current document is now included correctly when creating share links, so that the recipient will be forwarded to the correct page.

New functions and improvements in 4.26 Knowledge Panel – The Knowledge Panel is now also available in the Field Service App. If the feature is configured on your tenant, the details in the search result list may have links for opening the Knowledge Panel. PDF Documents – You can now electronically sign PDF documents. This works for documents that you find via the search, as well as exported procedure logs. AI Assistant – The AI Assistant is now available for all users with the appropriate permissions. The feature “Empolis Buddy” is no longer required to use this function. Procedures – The “Internal” field in the additional information is now only visible to users whose user profile has one of the legacy roles “Experte”, “Editor”, or “Normal” assigned. All other users only see the “External” field. General – Various internal improvements to make the app ready for iOS 18. Bug fixes in 4.26 Downloads – Fixed a problem with downloading iiRDS packages.

New functions and improvements in 4.23 Procedures: Provided support for the new answer type “multi-selection answers”, allowing users to select multiple answers for a question. The new answer type is an optional feature, please contact Empolis if you are interested. The exported procedure history (PDF) now includes links to uploaded files and a preview for each uploaded image. This feature requires the “File upload” answer type. Please contact Empolis if you are interested. Downloads – You will now receive a notification when downloading a single file, which you can click to switch to the “My Files” > “Downloads” area immediately. Deep links – By adding support for app-specific schemas (e.g. “eseua://), you can now build deep links that point directly to the app, which means that these links do not provide the option to open the linked content in the web app (Knowledge Portal) instead. Online help – The online help now opens in a full-width window for better user experience. Custom apps – The option “Share Usage Data” was removed from the Settings page. General – Some menus have been updated to the latest Apple components, such as the three-dot menu on the search page and the menu with the sorting options on the same page. Bug fixes in 4.23 Knowledge Home – The “Show all” action in the “Bookmarks” widget, which is shown when there are more than 6 entries, now also takes folders into account. Search: Corrected the number of results displayed when activating the “Show Offline Files Only” option. Fixed a display problem when switching from “Show Offline Files Only” back to “Show all Files”. Fixed an issue with missing filters in offline mode. Gallery view Fixed an issue that caused the app to crash when trying to open the metadata of an image from the gallery not providing any metadata. Corrected a display problem with the first entry of the gallery view. My Files: Fixed a bug that caused files to be accidentally removed from the “My Files” > “Downloads” area under certain circumstances. Fixed a display issue in the “My Files” > “Bookmarks” area when inside a folder, which also made the action buttons unreachable. Community & Team Knowledge – The participants of a problem now receive a message when the problem has been closed.

New functions and improvements in 4.22 Knowledge Home: Two new widgets were added: The Notes widget lets you access the editor for notes. The QR Code widget can be customized with individual functionality for your tenant, which you can then access simply by scanning a QR code. Users who have access to multiple home pages can now select which one they want to use. As an administrator, you can enable a blur effect on the background image of widgets. This effect now also applies to the Field Service App. Search: As an administrator, you can enable an alternative behavior for hierarchical filters. The selected behavior now also applies to the Field Service App. As an administrator, you can configure the result list to contain missing search terms to help your users better understand the results. This setting now also applies to the Field Service App. As an administrator, you can suppress the search results for empty searches. This setting now also applies to the Field Service App. External links – As an administrator, you can configure that a document is added to the user’s history when following the document’s external link. This configuration now also applies to the Field Service App. Log-in – Users who have been logged in for more than 28 days must now refresh their session by re-entering their log-in credentials.
