This company (and others like it) takes 25% of the order total from the vendors on top of the fees they charge the buyers. Anyone with an education in business will instantly know that 25% is usually the average profit margin a small business operates on, provided that the business owners know anything about business economics. This wipes out most, if not all, profits gained by the vendors and puts them in a position to raise prices to compensate, which in turn causes fewer orders because prices become too high for the average customer. 2.5% would be acceptable, but 25%? They make more money off of an order than the business does, and they don’t own any part of it. That’s mafia tactics. They are smart to do this because most small businesses don’t follow any sort of business model, and they know it. They are preying on the illiterate. Another thing they do is force the vendors into buying products from them in order to get exposure. If you don’t buy products regularly, they hide the business from online shoppers.
