Needs a lot of improvements
In theory this should be a great app - the idea behind giving colleagues a chance to gain knowledge and win prizes is great. However, the game has several times given out incorrect answers/information, very frustrating when it’s a scoring system ranked against other colleagues. The games are limited, repetitive and boring. One of the features on the app doesn’t work at all. Has potential but only giving 2 stars for now.

Also told me I had answered wrong and I hadn’t plus you really could be done with more time to answer questions!! really don’t no why we needed an app this year was better last year
As a new employee
I think the app is really useful as a new employee you will learn some facts about the company, it’s fun to use and simple. Not quite sure how I receive the price e voucher though?! What I like seeing is our teams knowledge against each other, a bit of friendly competition.

Briefly Researched, Reviewed In-Depth
After reviewing Ocasta’s website, it is my understanding that the company “licenses” use of the app, generally speaking, to other businesses to “test staff knowledge”. Therefore, as much as I would like to give a 1/5 rating, I don’t feel it would be a fair representation given the research I have, albeit briefly, conducted. I am under the impression that individual companies dictate the questions asked in the app. In the case of the company I work with, these questions can range from obvious to down-right bizarre. I have decided not to include examples of such questions as they will, presumably, vary depending on one’s employer. However, I will break down the reasons for my rating.. So far there seems to be no obvious bugs with the App running on my device and current OS which admittedly is not the most up-to-date version; There isn’t a huge variety of “games” - not a huge issue at all, just an observation; Certain games can be pretty challenging for those with imperfect dexterity - again, just an observation.
My recommendation to the developer would be to fact-check where possible, the information being fed to them by the companies they allow to use their software. Perhaps a quick spell-check at the very least. I understand that your “customers” are probably paying huge amounts of money to use the software you have undoubtedly spent a lot of time developing, but I must question whether or not these questions have been vetted by anyone at Ocasta. I imagine a lot of users of this app will assume that the developer is wholly responsible for the content they are seeing. To have such grossly obvious spelling and grammatical errors looks extremely unprofessional. Even the names of multinational brands and their hugely popular model ranges have been misspelt. With the current state of the economic climate, a business’s reputation has never been of more importance and this could really impact Ocasta negatively.

Told me I answered wrong
I’m knocking a point off the review as in the game I answered a question correctly but it says I didn’t. As you can only answer once and not change the answer it is disappointing to have points knocked off your overall total. Otherwise quite a good game.
Useless. Irritating.
No option for sign up on app. No website to sign up outside of app. No support or help. 1 star is too high. Absolutely relentless😡
