I took a chance after reading the negative review, and I’m glad I did. I have a nice sim setup, but I could never practice engine failures in P3Dv5 right at left off and now I can without too much trouble. I can have my wife fail a random engine during rotation so that I can have the amygdala high jack that occurs during startle effect. I own a Cessna 421 and just finished recurrent. I was surprised at what a handful the engine failure after takeoff was, especially at high altitude airports like Big Bear, CA. for example. Although I have over 20,000 hours, it’s mostly (98%) in large jets, so I don’t have the muscle memory of managing 6 levers down low with marginal performance while flying single pilot. My 787 has more performance than the law should allow, even at max gross. This program, although I’ve only tested it once does exactly what I want it to do!!!
Don’t be afraid to purchase it. I haven’t tested it with X-Plane, but it works great with the current version of Prepar3D, which is V5.3.
Happy and safe trails!
