Castle

This is a really good game and quite a challenge. It is good to test logical reasoning especially with an unfussy screen. I think the software writers are very clever on providing card patterns , dancing men etc. well done! I still agree with my previous comments. Very good mental exercise After many months this is still an excellent game just to keep the brain in gear.
This is still a great game to play, short but challenging. Just right for sharpening the brain.

MobilityWare

Hey, it’s MobilityWare. So far, anyway, they have the best made games with the least ad interruption/crash in the business. Free Cell is still my fav, but I love them all!
I also like the car games with arrows. I don’t recall the author. And Hexagon games.
I’m 68 yrs & I still drive & balance a checkbook. My hubby doesn’t like anything but Klondike Solitaire. He had several games (no MobilityWare) but got discouraged by all the ads and crashes. He no longer drives, no longer READS!!! And is no longer able to use a calculator.
Variety and MobilityWare are the secrets to successful aging, imho. (“In my humble opinion” for those of you who cannot keep up anymore).

Unsinkable

Most days you could play over 10 games before you can get one out, I know you have to have ads, but it turns me off playing longer than finishing the daily challenge. I can’t tell you what the ads are either, I take no notice.

Adding to my previous review

I keep thinking I should have also added these:
1) I am digging the goals and challenges in the game! I tend to not like goals & challenges in other games because they get in the way of gameplay… castle seamlessly integrates both and I look forward to new goals and challenges it serves up!!

2) love the animation of the cards at the end of every level!! The developers do a great job with these! They’re fun & sometimes surprising!! Lots of dancing people, I do like mostly the windmills, swords fighting, etc. the dancing people… there are so many of them that they’ve become too commonplace at the 100+ levels I’m on!!

Elderly fun

I like this game a lot. I tend to play it every day and really enjoy now that I can keep a streak, especially like design, which makes it both simple and challenging as well as fast-paced. I tend to like to do the goals and try and get all four of them in one deal, I liked it. There was an ad free version that I could get which keeps the pace even smoother. I also really like the success rate being pretty high and yet some great challenges Daily and then I can decide what level I feel particularly challenged by. I’m a little bit older, but young at heart and I think this definitely keeps my brain pretty sharp. Thanks to whoever developed this. It really is quite smooth and enjoyable.

Ridiculous ads

This game use to be great.I had downloaded it years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. I have since gotten a new iPad and decided to restart playing this game. Unfortunately, the amount of ads is totally unacceptable. After every game (whether successful or unsuccessful) there is an ad.. And there is no exiting the ad after five to ten seconds …. one is forced to watch for 30-60 seconds. But that is not the end of it on pressing the “X” to exit the ad takes one off to either the App Store to download the game, or to a website to buy the product. After closing the popped up website and go back to Castles to close the ad - again taken off to the pop up app or website (The worst was 14 attempts to exit the ad.). I know that it is not the ads that are doing this as other games running the same ads are allowing for people to exit without being coerced into buying the product from pop up websites or app stores.
(Being forced to watch ads for products that I am not of the age group or gender to be interested in, is also a great put off.)
I would like to say that it was great playing the game but it hasn’t been — the ads just ruined the experience! So, after three days of playing this game and dealing with more ads from your game than I normally get in a month from others, I am having to delete your game. Good bye!!

LOVE this! Give it a try!!

When I first saw this I thought “ugh… ANOTHER new way of solitaire (roll eyes!) Please don’t let this be another Tripeaks solitaire (whixjbivyste!)” and I was so happy to discover that it not only is NOT nother Tripeaks type solitaire… but it’s a million times better!! I love, love this castle solitaire so much!! It’s got just enough elements of regular solitaire but also fresh new elements too that it hooked me! The gameplay is easy too with auto complete… but doesn’t make me feel stupid for choosing this easy feature !! Instead auto complete really helps me & my disabilities enjoy solitaire again for the first time in 5+ years!! It’s perfect
If ur on the fence… don’t be! Give it a chance, I bet you’ll like it too!!

Banner ad

Today while playing this game a banner ad popped up across the button panel at the bottom of the screen completely covering it. I could not get rid of the ad and could not use the control buttons. Had to close the game. If it happens again I will delete the game. Please fix! Lynette

Hi there, Thanks for reaching out! We're happy to help! I'm sorry that you've encountered misbehaving ads. Our team needs info about your device to help. Very fair ad policy!

Play is quick, and while every game is winnable (I'm pretty sure..), they aren't easy, but you can replay and just one different card choice can take you to a win! As far as the ads, this company obviously limits the time an ad can display, resulting in a much 'kinder' ad pause between rounds! I'm sure this loses them monies, but buys them loyalty from me, that's for sure! ^.^
PS: yes Mobility, your team did a great job on graphics! ^.^
(& respected my request for no sounds so completely that even the ads are silent!!! Thank You! Thank You! ^.^)

Fun game with new improvements

They recently added a few new improvements that add a lot to the game, but were not explained very well in the update notes.
PUZZLES: It appeared that they had removed the puzzles because there were no longer puzzle animations each day , but they just made it work differently. Instead of having the puzzle game automatically tied to the first game you play, you have to go into the puzzle section in the Settings section and choose to play a puzzle game. More complex and one is more likely to forget to play the puzzle game, but at least it is still available.
UPDATE: The old puzzle animation is back! Yeah! Now you are reminded of the puzzle game on the main page and can select it from there.

EVENTS: There is a new events tracking page that I like and there appears to be more frequent events. I like this change.

DAILY STREAK: They added a daily streak icon. It is implemented very well and makes you want to keep the streak going. Overall, I really like this game. It hits a sweet spot by not being too hard nor too easy - just a fun way to relax and engage your mind in a restful way.
