Measure has been around a while now, I hardly use it at all as when I measure I usually have to measure by hand to get the exact measurement but then this app should show me when that line is straight by showing me a square angle, right? I can’t even remember if it doesn’t now I don’t think I did making my lines in the measurement square are the whole point. Also, I would recommend distance measurement is in vertical if it measures height than it should be able to measure the height of a tree I want to cut down. Or the distance between me and and deer for instance, or house. What it’s just a basic app for Apple phone, right?????? Please improve. And I’ll give it a four-star. That’s like a five star for me by the way. Very very, very picky. Because I fix these things and I am and know how apps work. It’s free but it’s one of the best because the ones that cost money. Your free trial ends, so I love this app. But being an iPhone staple now, requires it to meet certain quality standards correct???? Thank you.
  • Actually Not Bad At All, Especially For A Free App

The key seems to be to take your time, make sure you have a good direct angle on what you are measuring. The biggest key is to be sure you have laid out an accurate starting point and termination point, avoid taking curvature etc into the measurement. This is an app best used with solid angle items, like boxed packages for mailing, picture framing etc. avoid curved or funky shaped items. Those would be better measured with a soft measuring tape, like the ones used to measure your waist, etc. Kind of bare-bones app but it’s free. The more feature-laden apps out there are also subscription based and can cost up to $100 a year to use. Well worth it for the professional who would use it many times a day for mission critical stuff, but if you only need an app to take an occasional measurement here and there this is a perfectly adequate app for most instances.
  • This is a joke right?

This can’t be a real app - it’s perfectly useless and more inaccurate than playing darts blindfolded. Without the darts. Or board. Or hands. On the moon. The dark side. With no astronaut suit. Or wait, yes astronaut suit. No oxygen though. And you’re unconscious.

    Yeah, it’s worse than that.
  • Doesn’t work on iPhone 14 Pro

Uninstalled/Reinstalled several times. Level doesn’t interact at all, and measure just tells you to keep moving your phone around.

    Worked in my previous iPhones.
  • Horrible

This app is horrible one out of 10 do not recommend don’t download please. It did not let me do it and keeps saying bad lighting when all of the lights are on.
  • Suggestion

I tried using the measure tool yesterday to measure the incline of a driveway, please add the ability to change the units from degrees to % grade, roof pitch, etc. 12 degrees doesn’t mean much to me but 20% grade does. Also add an option for audible tone for leveling.
  • It finds roof leaks

Best app out there when it comes to being a roofer you can mark a leak from inside your home then walk around outside to go on the roof and go right back to that point you set inside the house so it’s perfect for pin point accuracy. The tape measure not so much
  • Need to be able to flip camera

Devs please add ability to flip camera if possible thanks
  • Useless

Simple measurements are difficult to complete. Photo button greyed out. +button used to start but doesn’t work to complete the measurement. Tried and failed…several times. I’m not sure why Apple includes this non-functional app in its bundle
  • Very Problematic For Small Spaces

This app does ok in larger, open rooms. But it's useless when trying to measure spaces like a small closet, half bathroom or even a standard size bathroom. The app responds poorly even in good lighting, and does not capture accurate measurements.
